My Unconventional Delivery System!

Everyone from Shinobu's family was alarmed by the unexpected 'earthquake' on their shrine, and a moment later, the 'earthquake' stopped.

"That earthquake was unexpected…..this was the first time after a decade an earthquake happened in our shrine." Said a middle-aged man who had a similar feature to Shinobu's great grandfather Giyu.

He was Shinobu's father, and besides him was a woman who looks like she's in her early twenties, she looks kind of like Shinobu, but with a  different hair and eye color, she

Despite looking young she's actually almost in her late 40's, she's at the age where she becomes a granny. 

"Indeed this is too unexpected...aside from that why do I feel someone is rudely mentioning my age…" She said with a slightly irritated tone.

(A/N: Eh? Did she just break the 4th wall?)

"What are you saying, dear? You must be imagining things." Said her husband.

"Maybe? Anyway Kae-chan, where is your cousin? It's almost time for lunch!" Shinobu's mother looked at the girl behind her.

"I don't know where she is, but she did say that will take a stroll around the shrine."  She said,

Kocho Kanae, like Shinobu, was named after her great grandmother, not just her name, even her appearance is 100% similar to her great grandmother's appearance.

All of sudden there was a person who rushed toward them after the personnel arrived at a certain distance. He was about to say a very important piece of information. However, he was catching his breath and couldn't say whatever he wanted to say.

Shinobu's father looked at the guy with concern, he said. "Are you alright? You look pale, did something happen?"

"I-ha...hah...I have...hah...something yo hahh...say…"

Both Shinobu's parents are looking at each other, and Shinobu's father said. "If you have something to say, you should have called me, haven't you heard of 'phone'? Why are you so primitive when we're living in modern society!"

At this moment, the personnel felt hurt, he was here to say a very important piece of information, he was not here to be mocked by his boss! He suddenly felt like crying.

A phone call arrived at Shinobu's took out the phone from his pocket, and he saw that it was a call from his daughter. "Oh, wait a sec, I have a call from my beloved daughter so don't say anything before I finish the call."

"But sir! It's very important!" The personnel said with a desperate tone. 

"Shhhh! No matter how important it is, nothing is more important than my daughter and wife!" He replied with an annoyed expression, because of this the personnel had no choice but to stay silent.

After that, he cleared his throat and answered the call. "Shinobu, it's almost lunchtime, where are you?"

"Dad! Forget about lunch! The sealed gate is open! I'm currently inside!" Shinobu said excitedly.

Hearing that from his beloved daughter, he instantly stood up from his chair and shouted. "What?! I'm going there right now!" 

He ended the call, he didn't need proof or anything, because he knew his daughter wouldn't lie to something very important like this.

His Wife and Kanae were surprised by his sudden shout, so they asked him what's wrong, and he answered.

"Let's not waste any more time! Shinobu said that the sealed gate is now open, you know what it means right? He arrived! Our God arrived! I have always thought that his existence was nothing more than a myth, but to think he's real…" 

Hearing his words, his wife and Kanae were shocked knowing that their God. The God they worship visited their shrine to get the heirloom that was made for him.

"What are we waiting for uncle! Let's go!"

After that, they went directly toward the sealed gate with haste.

While the Kocho family was rushing toward the sealed gate, the personnel was on the verge of tears, he said.

"I was supposed to be the one to say that information! Now it's worthless, if I knew this would happen, I wouldn't have wasted my energy running! Screw it!"

Inside the formerly sealed gate, Kyle looked at Shinobu who had just finished her call.

"You called your father?"

"Yeah, is there something wrong?"

"No, nothing, anyway the inside is quite unexpected...I never thought that this gate was connected to a very huge cave, how clever." Kyle could see a lot of engraving around the cave, they give off a very ancient feeling.

Although he isn't a history expert, he could tell that these engravings around the cave are in no way only a hundred years old, the people from hundred years ago, his first believers he was sure that they weren't the ones who engraved these texts around the cave.

It wasn't even Japanese words, to begin with, the engraving around the cave we're written in some unknown ancient language.

From what he could tell, the texts engraved around the cave were at least a million years old of age, this was probably at the time back when the ancient dinosaurs existed.

This wasn't some baseless assumption, he truly believed that this cave is at least a million years old.

"Damn, how did Shinobu find this place? By chance? Most likely…"

"Huh? You called?"

"Ah, no I was talking about your great-grandma." 

"Oh, but anyway this place is way too dark, I could barely see anything." Even though she was using her phone flashlight, it didn't help her at all!

"Oh, right my bad I forgot that it's dark here since I could clearly see anything here."

"What, you got night vision? Cool! I want to have that ability too!" She said with an envious tone.

"Night vision? I wouldn't really call my sight that, because what I see isn't green or similar to a night vision, for example, it's like there is a light bulb near you in the dark, that's how I describe my sight."

"That's even better! Now I'm jealous! Is that a God perk or something?" She asked.

"Well, It is." He didn't have this ability before, only when he became a God, he gained this ability

"Awh…so I could never get that kind of convenient ability.. what a shame" Shinobu pouted, if this was a God-related ability there is no way a mortal like could learn something like that.

Or she thought so.

"You can, I mean I can give you this ability it's no big deal, it's simpler than making someone an immortal." He replied casually.

"I think you just said something really outrageous, easier than making someone immortal really? It's every person's dream to be immortal and you're telling me that you're capable of making someone undying?" She said with shock.

"Making someone undying is impossible, there is no way I could do that, even myself isn't undying, the immortal I meant is someone who doesn't die from old age, for example, me, I'm essential an immortal being, but I would die if someone were to injure me both physically and mentally." He replied.

"That's still amazing! Do you know how many people wanted to be an immortal like you?"

"Don't know, don't care anyway let's quit the chit-chat. I want to get the heirloom as soon as possible because I don't have much time." After that, he gave her an eyes enhancement, although it's a bit inferior to his eyesight, it's better than nothing.

"Ohhh! Ohhh! I can see in the dark clearly! Thank you! But what are these ancient, yet creepy looking texts around the cave, pretty sure it wasn't made by your religion first believers!" She said while looking at the texts that were engraved around the cave.

"I know, let's move forward." Then, Kyle moved toward the deepest part of this mysterious ancient cave, along with Shinobu.
