"I see, so your name is Ban!" Yakob nodded his head and also commended Ban for having such a cautious attitude. 

Indeed, if one wants to succeed in this world, one must be cautious towards anyone, especially to people they just met. Heck, even direct family members betray each other, how much more some strangers? 

The reason why he was honest to him, even though it was obvious that Ban was still a young lad, was because he smelled the stench of the Demon Mushroom from him. 

No, it was not him who smelled it, but his Monster, who was now lying not far away from them, clearly exhausted after running for too long. 

Previously, he only came here as his Monster also smelled cooked meat from over here. They were searching for the people who were responsible for killing the Demon Mushroom so he thought that they might have come to the real place. 

However, after closing in, he felt someone staring at him from above. He thought it was a Beast but after he closed in even more, he realized that it was actually a person, a young man to be precise. It was then that his Monster reported that the young man carried the stench of a Demon Mushroom.

When Ban jumped down, he was quite shocked at how young he was. He could not even help but describe his face as cute. 

They were in the Inner Area of the Death Swamp, for someone to come here, they must either be ignorant, arrogant, or were confident of themselves. 

From the looks of it, the latter should be the best word to describe Ban. 

The Demon Mushroom's stench was on him, so Yakob guessed that he must be part of the group who killed the Demon Mushroom. The thought of Ban defeating the Demon Mushroom never crossed his mind at all. 

Even he himself who was already at the peak of D-Master Rank was not confident on doing so without going all out. The Demon Mushroom was after all a Lord Grade Beast of the E-Elite Rank. 

Although he was still already on the Multi Realm and the Demon Mushroom was only as the Singular Realm, with the help of the Demon Mushroom's Skills and its strong body, it would still be hard for Yakob to kill it. 

He thought that Ban was not the only one around here. There must still be some groups hidden behind, unknown to even him and his D-Master Rank Monster. 

And for Ban to belong to that group, he must have quite a capability as well. 

In fact, when they sat down closely earlier, he already ascertained it as true. Most likely, he guessed that Ban has already reached the E-Elite Rank, just like his Young Miss. 

At such a young age, both of them reached the E-Elite Rank, it must be said that the two of them are the genius amongst geniuses. 

It was also because of this that he thought it was very likely for Ban to have companions around. For a genius like this, he would surely be protected secretly by his elders. 

Although what puzzled him the most was that he did not hear of any genius named Ban residing in Eagle City. 

Normally, every family would be more likely to boast their talented juniors towards others. Eagle City and Falcon were like neighbors, words traveled fast and as a respected family the Falcon City, he as one of the upper echelon was well-informed of rumors. 

However, he did not hear such a genius appearing recently in Eagle City. 

'Was it due to the upcoming Beast Tide that news no longer travels as fast as before?' He thought.

Anyways, after being silent for too long, Yakob went directly to the point. 

"The matter I wanted to talk about, Ban was actually more like a request or a trade."

"I won't lie to you. One of the important people in our family was struck with an illness. We came here on the Death Swamp to search for a Beast called the Demon Mushroom, as it's only with it that we could cure that important person's illness." 

"Actually, we've been following your group since earlier and just when we thought that you guys had already left the Death Swamp, my monster suddenly smelled of cooked meat. So I immediately headed here to inspect and did not expect to find you instead." 

"It's like this… if you guys still have the body of the Demon Mushroom, we are willing to pay for it at any costs, as you can see, our situation is very dire."

Hearing that, the Young Miss Ciera's eyes instantly lit up in understanding. 

'So it's like that, Elder was already aware of his identity. So that's the reason why he told almost everything to him honestly. Anyways, this boy is probably the same age as me. Even though Elder Yakob was not a rude person, Elder Yakob would also not act that politely towards a stranger, especially a junior, even if I said we should act nicely towards the other party if there was not something important that he noticed.'  Ciera thought while staring at Ban curiously. 

Ban was surprised by what he just heard. 'This person is so honest, I could feel it.'

He scratched his head, not knowing what to do. Even though one less body would not bother him that much, one body still counts. If he did not perform well, it would take them at most an hour or even more to take down a Beast like this, including the preparation and traveling time.

Seeing Ban's hesitation, Yakob instantly reminded him of something. 

"Don't be hasty to refuse yet, Ban. As I've said before, we are in a dire situation, and I'm not sure if your group was already aware of this, but the Demon Mushroom you guys killed is the last one present on the Beast-filled place, Death Swamp."

"I don't know what you guys are going to use the Demon Mushroom's body for and it could not be sold as well, but if it's not urgent, can you give it to us? In exchange, you can request anything from us as well, and as long as we have the capability, we will surely not disappoint you."
