Chapter 689 Fallen Lord.
The blue light engulfed the sky and land.
Everyone knew that Fenrir was about to unleash his attack.
"Fenrir, no!" Then, Loki's voice echoed from several kilometers away. Arthur and the rest of the gods looked baffled at the trickster god.
Loki looked stern when he spoke to the enormous wolf, like he was talking to his pet.
To everyone's surprise, the blue light slowly vanished as Fenrir stopped its attack. The pressure also vanished and the atmosphere turned surprisingly calm.
However, Garmagello was far from calm. He knew that if the massive mutt fired its attack, he would have died a thousand times over. Hell, maybe even the whole planet of the Four Seasons, and everyone there would have died!
'All that power held by a fucking hound.' Garmagello trembled in his boots. 'Are they fucking crazy to let someone like this stay here? Aren't they afraid that this mutt will one day wake up grumpily and kill everyone?
'Why are they risking it all? Because of us?'
Garmagello was indeed baffled at their enemies' crazy strategy. He immediately knew that Fenrir might be their final trump card, and it surprised him that they used it to get rid of him.
'Right, that voice...' Garmagello heard a voice and for some reason, that person could control the massive mutt. 'There is someone who can control this beast?'
That gave him an idea, a very devious idea.
'What if, I kidnap that person, let King Belphegor and King Asmodeus do their mind control things, and make him loyal to us. We would get another god on our side and also this black-furred creature!'
Garmagello's breath slightly quickened because this was a chance for him to rise in the ranks. He was tired of being Demon Lord of the Seventh Heaven since he believed his strength to be in the top three. However, his achievements were lackluster at best, and he had never defeated someone truly strong.
The Demon Kings told him to send his avatar to test the gods because they believed he was the "weakest Lord" and it would be a good time to test how far their strength reaches against their weakest member. That insulted Garmagello, and he tried to prove himself by defeating the gods with only his avatar, but it proved to be futile.
That didn't help to make him look better, and because of that loss, his status as Demon Lord of Seventh Heaven was almost cemented to stay forever.
But, this was a chance to prove his worth!
This might change the tide of the war and ensure their victory!
Garmagello's lips curved into a smile. But then, a large shadow engulfed him and the area around him. Then, large teeth surrounded him, and then, everything turned dark.
Garmagello's vision continued spinning around as he felt like he was in a tunnel. He was constantly falling down until he landed in a pool of immensely hot water. It smelled terrible and there were chunks of ground melting in the water.
'What the hell happened?' He anxiously looked around and saw bloody, slimy walls. He realized where he was. He was inside Fenrir's stomach!
He stopped concentrating on the massive creature for a moment, and Fenrir surprisingly took advantage of it and swallowed him!
Garmagello felt angered and humiliated. He rose from the scorching hot water and decided to destroy Fenrir from inside!
"Pull and Push, Gravity Destroyer!" Garmagello clenched both fists, slammed them against each other and pushed his ability to its limit. Both Pull and Push abilities were activated and the gravity started getting stretched.
The stomach walls were being pulled and pushed at the same time. That caused a great havoc in Fenrir's flesh.
"Howooooooooooo!" Fenrir howled loudly towards the sky and dark clouds started gathering above.
Then, the blue light reappeared, but this time, the light started moving down to its stomach instead!
The blue light engulfed every corner of Fenrir's body until finally arriving at the stomach. Garmagello was frightened and couldn't speak another word as the blue light burned him to ashes.
Fenrir's mouth and eyes shone in brilliant bluish light, almost looking like a massive flashlight. It lasted for several minutes, until the light disappeared and the dark clouds disappeared.
"Howoooooooooooo!" Fenrir let out another deafening howl, and this time it was a howl of victory.
Loki, Arthur, and the rest watched as Fenrir stopped howling and returned to the underground. The ground trembled like an earthquake hit them until the black-furred dog was deep enough.
Arthur and the gods still couldn't believe it. One of the crazy strong Demon Lords had died just like that, but Loki wasn't that impressed. He expected this to happen.
"Let's go."
"Where?" Arthur asked as Loki started walking away.
"To Demon Lord hunting." Loki said with his hands tugged in his pockets. "We need to finish off at least three before Kings find out. So, keep up."
...
Lucifer sat alone in his room, deep in a thinking tank. Demon ships continued flying past the window, towards Four Seasons, as they were called for reinforcements.
Most of the demon army had already been mobilized to White Paradise and it was seen clearly from above. A sea of demons and their enemies was everywhere, in both White Paradise and outside.
Fights were happening everywhere.
The Demon Kings were also busy in their own respects. Lucifer didn't seem to care what was happening outside this room; Belphegor was fighting against Eros; Mammon against Nyx; Beelzebub was overseeing the army from outside the Four Seasons.
Satan was dead.
Leviathan had arrived in White Paradise and was fighting Uranus.
Asmodeus' current location was unknown.
Lucifer slowly opened his eyes and then the door swung open, revealing a haggard-looking Asmodeus.
"Lucifer, I have something dire to te--"
Lucifer raised his hand, stopping him from saying anything else. "I already know."
"Eh?" Asmodeus was baffled.
"You fought against the person who resurrected the World of White, and he must have also met Satan in the Four Seasons, right?"
"H-how did you..."
"It's not that hard after I thought more." Lucifer sat cross-legged, like an ancient master. "Satan must be dead. That person is also incredibly strong, and you happened to escape with luck."
Asmodeus wanted to refute it, but couldn't open his mouth.
