Chapter 41 – She Wolf
Jenna arrived the next evening dressed in a rich silk evening gown. She wore a diamond necklace and painted fingernails. That was all she had. She dressed pretty charming for a noblewoman.
“You should stop coming to see me dressed so nicely,” Gray grumbled, opening the door for her. “Just your underclothes should be fine.”
“I’ll do that the day this world turns upside down,” she grinned. “But as for this, we are going to an evening tea at the premises of Lord and Lady Duchwin. And guess who will be my partner?”
Gray looked outside. “Your carriage driver?”
“No, the one who is going to sign an agreement right now and be my bitch,” she came close to him. She smelled nice. “Isn’t that what you call most girls in bed?”
“And they like it,” Gray shut the door hard. “I don’t. Let’s get this over with.”
Lyla was waiting in the living room, her eyes still on the papers. She had gotten a contraction in the morning, and Gray had almost been afraid it had been the sex last night. Only when she was up in the evening he finally heaved a sigh of relief. But he had to hire a private cook for the morning and afternoon meals, and they weren’t as tasty as the ones Lyla prepared.
I need to hire a maid, fast.
“How are you doing madam?” Jenna slightly lifted the edges of her skirt and bowed down. “I am very aware of the situation you are in, and I am sad Gray had to trouble you with something like this.”
“Oh, quit the shit,” Gray pushed her down to the chair. “Read it and let’s finish this.”
For the first time, Jenna looked annoyed. “You should respect pregnant women some more. Especially when you are the father.”
Lyla pushed her the papers. “I would have been impressed with you if Gray didn’t tell me what kind of a woman you are. And I hate your kind.”
Jenna beamed. “Always the pleasure to meet an enthusiast.”
She grabbed the papers. “So, I was told you added changes? What are they?”
“A few simple ones. One, you should watch me while I have sex with any woman you choose.”
“I’m not a pervert like you,” Jenna muttered, turning the pages. “But that can be done.”
“Two, for the course of the next two months you’ll stay in this house. You are responsible for crafting any lie to your father and whoever you know. You can go anywhere you want, anytime except for nights. You cannot reside anywhere but here.”
“That’s too much. I cannot even think of a good lie to tell my father?”
“Tell him you are going on a long trip.”
“Even then it’s risky. My father’s reputation could be at stake if some newsboy tells his daughter walked out of dead Lord Julius’s house.”
That gave Gray an idea. “Then use it. You are not coming here to meet anyone, you are coming to meet Andria. Why? I don’t fucking care. I did half of the job for you, so use that brain of yours. Or isn’t your brain functioning like your mouth?”
A flash of anger crossed her face, but it was gone in an instant.
“Alright, consider that done. But I’m applying another sentence for my agreement.”
“Fine with me. My third and final rule is your celibacy. No man, no woman, you stay single rubbing yourself until we end this agreement.”
Gray wasn’t surprised he didn’t get any resistance. “That was never a problem. So, is that all?”
Gray stared at her, trying to understand something from her face. A smile, a frown, a twinkle in the eye, anything that could signify he was in the right path. But he might as well try to look at signs in a statue.
“Yes, that is all.”
“Well then,” Jenna cleared her throat and dipped the quill in ink. “I’m writing one more. During the entirety of our agreement you can and will not make a move on me.”
“What if you come onto me?”
“That will never happen even in your dreams. Now, are we in agreement? You wouldn’t even touch me without my approval.”
“No dirty talk either?”
“Oh, you can keep that,” Jenna wrote the sentence and signed at the bottom. “I am immune to all of that.”
“All right then,” Gray took the paper and kept the quill at the very edge. He paused for one last time, lingered on the little moments he enjoyed in life so far, and signed it. “Alright, now what?”
“My carriage driver has my seal. He will bring it to me. Who has yours?”
Gray looked at Andria, who held a circular wax seal. She nodded at Jenna who smiled.
“Then all is done. We place our respective seals and send this document to the hall of records. In case a dispute arises between us the document can be referenced under a higher authorized noble jury or in worse cases, with the queen herself.”
Gray felt like someone tightening a lock on his neck. But what was done was done. And Jenna had agreed to everything he had said so far.
“While we do that why don’t you go get dressed?” Jenna asked. “We have a ball to attend, where your first target is eagerly waiting in bed.”
“I love it when people get to work right away,” Gray grumbled. But orders were orders. He gave Lyla a nod and headed off upstairs. Just when he was beside the staircase Jenna spoke.
“Gray, I know what you are trying to do. Making me watch, letting me stay in this sex crazed house, you really think I’ll get wet and beg you to put your thing inside me? Think again. I’ve been inside noble orgies and asked my butler to cut the sinews of every man who tried to come at me. You should have kept me out of the house rather than the inside.”
“Your butler isn’t staying.”
“Yes,” Jenna gave a dark smile. “But he’ll be watching.”
Gray grinned. “Then that old man can finally rub his wilted cock to something.”
He laughed as he walked up, but in truth, he was shivering under his shoes. He wasn’t dealing with a bitch, he was dealing with a she-wolf.
