Chapter 56: Where is my Wife!?
(Risa’s POV)
The reports were slow, as no one could get the word out. That ship… whoever owned it, was very powerful. Jamming tech should all be banned, and very expensive and hard to manufacture…
As the ship flew away, Karlena and I were beyond furious. We had gotten here far too late to save our wife… The estate wasn’t damaged, but the maids were heavily injured. Even Seehia was missing an eye.
Firearms as well? Those are banned, too. They even used bullets that slow the regeneration of our bodies. Looking at my daughter, Karlena was so angry that she was digging her nails into her fists, causing them to bleed.
And why wouldn’t she be furious? Their target was clearly Tesslia, and they had painfully injured not only our maids, but a very trusted maid, who has been her long-time friend, Seehia, who had even married one of my daughters…
Risa: “Everyone, take a regeneration injection this instant!” I order.
Maids: “…”
Seehia: “My Lady… those injections are so expensive.” She expressed.
Karlena: “That doesn’t matter. Take them already!” She repeated my order.
As they were her maids, they were finally forced to follow said order. There is very little that can injure our kind for prolonged periods of more than a few seconds.
Which is why I developed and priced those injections so expensively. Last ditch injections, which will quickly heal any wound, and in seconds.
Even though I made them, the cost is still high. Over two hundred maids were injured, and, in total, should cost us 6,000,000,000 Credits to replace their used ones.

Karlena: “Now, who took our wife?” She said with her arms crossed.
Seehia: “Unknown…” She answered.
Slam!
After she smashed the table, I rubbed her back to calm Karlena down. The table was of no importance, as it could be easily replaced. But my fury wasn’t lesser to my daughter’s, as Tesslia couldn’t be replaced at all. I just knew how to hide it well enough.
Risa: “Why is it unknown who took Tesslia?” I try to calmly ask, but my anger did somewhat seep out, somewhat startling the maids.
Seehia: “The ship was unmarked, and so were the people who took her. Gray suits and masks, with no emblems at all. There is no way to track them.” She explained.
Karlena: “…”
Risa: “…”
Dammit… they were willing to break so many laws? The pampered bitches of this planet aren’t brave enough to do such a thing…
Fern: “Since they broke the law in many ways, even piracy and kidnapping without designation or emblem, the military should already be after them.” She informed.
Karlena: “What does that change!? Before even leaving the atmosphere, they had cloaked their ship. And with tech that is so advanced…” She said with tears in her eyes.
Fern: “…”
I haven’t witnessed this daughter of mine cry since she was a child… This situation seems grim, but not as much as they think it is. Despite there being no designation, we do have some leads.
For one, very few people in existence could afford such tech. It will be someone either richer or slightly less wealthy than we are. That narrows it down to a few potential perpetrators…
