Reincarnated As Young King of Meteor City(Meruem-HxH)

Ch43- The New Meteor Kingdom

Their departure was as grand as their arrival, their silhouettes disappearing into the extravagant limousine. As the luxury vehicle roared to life, it served as a grim reminder of the power of the emerging nation, its strength not yet fully acknowledged, but impossible to ignore. As they left the government building, the ministers and their aides were left with the echoes of their declaration and the chilling reminder of their aura.

The display of their power had been a statement, a declaration that Meteor Kingdom would no longer be underestimated. Haruto may not have been physically present, but his words, through Phinx, echoed through the halls of power. The ministers could only speculate what this meant for their future relations with Meteor Kingdom. But one thing was clear – they could no longer dismiss this rising power.

In the limousine, the trio broke their silence. "Do you think they got the message?" Uvogin asked, his voice a low growl. Franklin chuckled dryly, "If they didn't, they're more foolish than I thought."

Phinx, leaning back in the plush seat, smiled to himself. "They got the message alright," he said, the aura of satisfaction radiating off him. "And if they didn't, they will soon."

The march of the Meteor Kingdom’s ambassadors through the world was relentless, a relentless echo of their first encounter in the Republic of Rakario.

In the Kukan'yu Kingdom, they strutted through the palace, their confident strides reflecting the marble floors. The King’s refusal to recognize Haruto’s position only heightened their resolve. "Your Highness, whether you accept it or not, Meteor Kingdom exists," Franklin stated, his eyes challenging the monarch. "We are not here to seek your acceptance, but to announce our independence."

In Jappon, they were met with the Prime Minister’s scoffs and smirks. "A boy king leading a nation? Isn't it amusing?" he chuckled, leaning back in his seat. Uvogin snapped back, his patience wearing thin, "His Majesty is no ordinary boy. And you will realize it soon enough."

The Mimbo Republic dismissed their presence outright, the President waving them off with an uninterested hand. Phinx's voice cut through the tension, "Your ignorance is your downfall, Mr. President. We did not come to beg. We came to inform."

In the Republic of Padoeka, the ministers dared to laugh at their assertions. But their laughter ceased when Uvogin slammed his fist on the table, the sound echoing throughout the grand chamber. "Your laughter will be replaced by respect, gentlemen. This, we guarantee."

In Begerosse Union, they countered the council's skepticism with unwavering certainty. The politicians attempted to belittle Haruto's capacity to rule, but Franklin merely smiled, an unsettling edge to his grin. "When your cities are piled high with your own refuse, you will remember this conversation."

In the Federation of Ochima, they met thinly veiled hostility with cold composure. Nobunaga silenced the mutterings with a sweeping gaze. "You might deny us now, but time will force you to acknowledge the reality. The Meteor Kingdom is here to stay."

And finally, in the Kakin Kingdom, they bore the brunt of a fierce debate in the royal council. Their calm demeanor remained undisturbed, their responses as sharp as the questions thrown at them. "Our kingdom, our rules," Uvogin declared. "You don't get to decide the legitimacy of our reign."

Each confrontation added another notch to their collective confidence, their declaration rippling through the international community. Their travels took months, their path charted by diplomatic necessity rather than personal preference. And in every meeting, they projected an aura of power and certainty, their personalities reflecting their king's ambitions.

They were not diplomats by trade, but they adapted to their roles with ease. They donned their tailored suits like armor, their determination their shield. They carried their authority in the set of their shoulders, their belief in Haruto's leadership radiating from their every word.

Their words, a reflection of Haruto's ambitions, were precise and clear. Each one carried an implicit threat, a promise of an emerging power that wouldn't be stifled. They did not mince words, their speeches an amalgamation of veiled threats and stern warnings. And they relayed Haruto's message with an unyielding resolve that left their audience uneasy.

Six months had passed since the ambassadors of the Meteor Kingdom had embarked on their diplomatic mission. As they made their way back, they marveled at the changes that had unfolded in their absence. They found Meteor City transformed, like a phoenix reborn from ashes. The stench of decayed waste, that used to linger in the air, was replaced by a crisp freshness, a testament to the absence of the former rubbish mountains. The dust-covered shanties had evolved into elegantly architected buildings, their pristine walls reflecting the sunlight.

Cobblestone streets ran through the city like veins, their stone edges sharp and symmetrical, reflecting a world of disciplined urban planning. They crisscrossed through the city, connecting one gleaming structure to another, painting a contrast to the muddy trails they remembered.

Surrounding the city was an imposing fortress-like wall, its towering structure casting long shadows as the sun descended. This wall, much more than a mere architectural marvel, was a statement, a declaration of sovereignty.

Outside the walls, where once lay barren lands, were vast agricultural fields flourishing with crops. Rows upon rows of rice and wheat spread like a green carpet, their golden grains glinting in the sun. The once sterile soil had found a purpose, its newfound fertility a testament to the city's resolute spirit.

"Are we lost?" Uvogin wondered aloud, unable to comprehend the striking transformation.

"No, we're home," Franklin replied, a sense of pride evident in his voice.

As they made their way to the magnificent gates of the Kingdom, a surprised glance passed between Franklin, Uvogin, and Phinx. Two soldiers, looking hardly older than boys, stood on either side of the gates, their bodies radiating a subtle glow of Nen. Their manifestation of Nen was not particularly strong, yet it was there nonetheless - a reality that was previously unheard of for common guards.

A flourish of salutes was bestowed upon the ambassadors from the youthful guards, who, despite their tender ages, bore a firm demeanor that reflected their newfound responsibility. The trio nodded back, their gaze still subtly lingering on the aura of Nen radiating from the guards. The gate, as if recognizing their authority, parted to grant them entry into the heart of the Kingdom.

The city streets, once a scene of desolation, now hummed with life. People were conversing animatedly, their smiles lighting up the environment, their laughter echoing through the cobblestone avenues. Children, previously seen lurking in the shadows, were now seen running around, their shrill laughter filling the air with hope.

Everywhere they looked, walls were adorned with posters encouraging people to learn - to read, write and more, all for free. The noise of town criers echoed through the streets, translating the message of the posters into spoken words for those who were still to learn the alphabet.
