Chapter 49
A crack in space appeared in front of Allen and his group as a man covered in the fabrics of space stepped out of the space crack. The man walked towards the Vice Headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy as he seemed to be taking a stance in defending her.
The man knew he couldn’t defeat Allen even though he knew that both of them possessed the same power realm but he also knew that the foundation of their power was worlds apart.
He was even shocked to find that Allen had the best and most stable foundation that he had ever encountered in his life!
So with that alone, he knew that he couldn’t beat Allen even if the Ruler Of Reality weren’t included in the equation. Allen alone could defeat him easily, but he didn’t back down.
Even if he would be defeated or at worst killed, he would uphold the honor of the Manipulator’s Academy.
Allen who witnessed the futile attempt of resistance that the man covered in spatial fabrics couldn’t help but admire him for his actions. He knew that the man covered in spatial fabrics was worthy of his respect as even though the man knew he would lose, he wasn’t like those bastards who would run away in fear and leave his academy.
From what Allen had observed from the actions of the man covered in spatial fabrics, he knew he was the Headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy.
So without beating around the bush, Allen stated the purpose of their visit.
“We are only here to enroll as students of this academy. For your business with Realius, the two of you can chat privately about it. And for the reason why I didn’t kill your Vice Headmaster, consider it as my benevolence.”
“I am not an unreasonable person and the only reason why I have fought against her was pure because of self-defense. She attacked me so she should have expected me to retaliate. Consider herself lucky that I’m not interested in taking her life.”
When the Headmaster heard of Allen’s words, he was relieved. Even he knew that if Allen had decided to, he couldn’t even put up a fight against him.
As for Allen, he meant what he had said. He wasn’t an unreasonable person. And for him, killing the Vice Headmaster wouldn’t bring him any benefits and it would only cause some discord against the Manipulator’s Academy.
There wasn’t any benefit that Allen could get from killing the Vice Headmaster and even if he had the talent of and , those talents wouldn’t hinder his decisions and actions.
Allen also knew that if he kept on killing those who had annoyed him, he wouldn’t be any different from those hypocrites back in his homeworld and he didn’t want to become what he hated the most.
But to put it simply, the main reason why Allen didn’t kill the Vice Headmaster was that her attacks didn’t reek of killing intent which meant that the Vice Headmaster didn’t intend to kill them.
For the possibility that the Vice Headmaster had hidden her killing intent, it was impossible as even skilled assassins who could hide their killing intent could easily be detected by Allen since his and other talents that revolved around killing weren’t a joke.
Only someone more powerful than Allen could hope to possibly negate his abilities and the last time he checked, the Vice Headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy wasn’t powerful enough to do that.
That was why Allen only responded by immobilizing the Vice Headmaster. It would bring him far more benefits if he acted kindly than to act hostile toward the Manipulator’s Academy.
After breathing out a sigh of relief, the Headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy removed the spatial fabrics that coated his body which revealed his appearance as that of an old man wearing a green and black-colored uniform.
The headmaster had a mixture of blonde and white hair and his hair was disheveled. The headmaster possessed blue-colored eyes while possessing a white skin tone that had a few wrinkles which indicated his old age. If it wasn’t for his old age, the headmaster would be a handsome man.
“I thank you in advance for your benevolence. I’ll take it as I owe you favor so just tell this old man if you ever need any help as long as I could fulfill it and it doesn’t go against my morals, I wouldn’t hesitate to help you to the best of my abilities.”
“Then I won’t forget your word for it.”
After a short exchange between the headmaster and Allen, the Headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy began to introduce himself.
“A pleasure to meet you all. This humble old one is Sebastian Everglade and the current headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy.”
“The pleasure is mine. If you want, you can have a private chat with Realius about your academy’s current situation.”
When Allen said that, Realius didn’t refute his words as he indeed had wanted to have a chat with the Headmaster of the Manipulator’s Academy.
Seeing that Sebastian agreed, Realius snapped his fingers and activated his [Reality Domain] which transported both him and Sebastian to another reality.
In just a few seconds, Realius and Sebastian appeared back at their previous locations and from the looks of it, the two of them had already finished their chat.
“Ea Silver, lead them to their classroom. I have already negotiated with the Ruler Of Reality and he agrees to be the guardian of our academy for a year.”
Hearing the command from the Headmaster himself, Ea Silver didn’t refute his command and only did what he said as Ea Silver led Allen, Realius, John, and Axel to their classroom.
Even if Ea wanted to refute Sebastian’s commands, she couldn’t. After all, the Headmaster holds her allowance as she was one of the teachers in the Manipulator’s Academy.
