One Piece: Gambling to The Top

Facing Drake with his back, the giant dinosaur closed his jaw and turned, glaring at Josh after their clash. 

Strong wind surged around that it made the stalls and the fruits in the market fly away.

"You think that a simple swordsmanship is enough to hurt the skin of an ancient Zoan user." 

"You are historical. I'm mythical. One is dead and one is a legend." Josh, who was in his devil form, sneered at Drake. 

His blade being covered by red demonic energy, Josh sheathed his sword slowly. 

Since he is an ancient demon, Josh assumed that he would be able to use magic like Devils are known at some point, had he have the luck to figure that out. But all he could do now is enhance his swordsmanship with the demonic power.

X-Drake harrumphed and took a step forward, intending to clash again. 

However, suddenly, a severe pain came from his eye.

Josh, half closing his eyes, stared as a deep cut appeared on the right eye of X-Drake. 

"No way!" surprised, Drake tried his best to hold his position on his two short legs. 

"You have tough skin. Your eyes, however, are made of fats, that's all." 

With that being said, the sword vanished from Josh's hand as he flashed above X-Drake, who could barely see it with one of his eyes being lost. 

Taking a Kung Fu stance in his Demon form, Josh spread his legs, squatted and raised his fist while looking at the green scales that he was standing at. 

In this form, Josh was 2-3 times stronger and faster than before. 

Red aura covering his scaled red demon fist, Josh punched down. 

When the fist made a contact with the skin, it turned into a palm. 

*Bam*

Instead of a direct punch, what Josh sent was a strong impact. The impact, of course, bypassed the hard scales and made direct contact with the brain. 

Yawning and yelling, the dinosaur lost his balance and fell on his back. Josh quickly jumped off its back and landed on the ground. 

X Drake shrunk in size, going back to his normal size, with one eye missed. 

When Josh stared at him, X Drake was unconscious. 

It was expected, since Josh may have killed some of X-Drake's brain cells.

Upon hearing the notification, Josh went back to his normal height, the horns around his head vanished, and he was human again. 

After beating Drake, his mission should have succeeded. 

Not wanting to waste more time, Josh used Shave to move around, in order to meet where his women are. 

When Josh made his way into another seaport, he noticed that Robin and the others were waiting for him in front of a new ship, in the middle of the navy ships. 

Robin, somehow, using her ability, seemed to take down a sailing that contained the navy's logo. 

Because of her ability, Robin could easily replace it. When she looked around the seaport, Robin noticed Josh walking toward them while staring. 

"Come on." She waved her hand at him, asking him to hurry and go with them. 

Josh, smiled, nodded and got into the ship before Robin sailed forward. 

This new ship was very fast compared to their old one.

 It had cannons and weapons around it. In fact, there is a kitchen down as well. 

"Robin, can you explain to me what happened." 

Asking that, Josh felt relief when he saw Mikita and Marianne safe on the ship. 

Robin only smiled. "Happy to see you back alive." She walked toward him, opened her arm, and hugged him to her, kissing his lips on the process. 

"Josh. I was so worried that you had to face a Commodore. Did you beat him badly or little badly, Kyahahahah…" 

Mikita laughed in order to ease her nervousness and she came behind and hugged Josh. 

Josh was quite surrounded by the tall big titted women hugging him, and he didn't notice Marianne hugging him from the side. 

After the small hug was over, Josh not bothering hiding his bone, Robin explained. 

Since Josh had defeated most of the strong marines here, Robin could easily deal with the small marines with her Devil Fruit Powers, cracking their necks up as she took their fastest ship. 

Josh wanted to scold her for using her power on them, but he knew that Robin realises what that can lead to since she was a really smart person. 

Robin continued her story and how she thought about getting them a new faster ship since Josh had mentioned that. 

"Thanks. But don't risk your life to do that again." Josh stared at her blue eyes. 

Robin tilted her head to the side and gave a gentle smile. "Anything for a LITTLE brother like you." 

"Ahem. You are taking that 'little' word too far." 

"She just like teasing." Mikita rolled her eyes. "She always brag how big you are down—" Before she could complete her words, Mikita had a hand appearing on her mouth from nowhere. 

Josh sighed as he raised his head. "The good side of the story, we managed to get away."

He then sat down on the deck and lied on the ground, extending his arms. "I'm mentally tired." 

Josh didn't only get a new ship and two Mystery Boxes. 

Because of his physical talent, and the battle against T-Bone and X Drake, Josh has improved his swordsmanship and fighting martial arts way better. 

Battle was the best way to pick up fighting experience, and Josh's talent increases that. 

After the girls started settling their things down on the ship, Josh decided to open the two mystery boxes he has now. 

Opening the tier-three box (+excellent), Josh got a reward higher than Excellent Rank, which should be due to his luck.

Thinking about this, Josh has again to choose between his healing factor or physical talent. One helps him better in battles, while the other help picks up fighting skills better and faster. 

Both were essential. 

Josh ended up putting it on his Healing Factor constitution

Better than above mid healing factor. 

With this, Josh can heal his wounds faster and recuperate faster during the battle. At least, this way, he can survive deadlier battles. 

Wondering what can increase his healing factor ability, Josh thought if he could become like the Wolverine, without the help of his Zoan. 

The next time he gets this cheat again, he would surely be confused about where he would invest it. 

In any case, as long as he is getting more money, he would get more power. 

Now, it was time to see what's the other thing he may have.

Josh didn't know what it is as confusion was drawn on his face. He doesn't know what the system means by Spiritual Matters.

 But thinking again, Josh thought about the mythical energy his form is unleashing. Also, his swordsmanship, which requires immense focus. 

'It can come to hand… but it is only 300%. My other talent has double of that, but it's lower in the rank. Could it be the quality and not the quantity?' 

Shaking his head, Josh stood up on the deck and walked to the edge, watching the endless blue sea. 

"Well. I made my decision what to do for now?" 

Josh half-closed his eyes as he looked at the sea. 

He can do one thing, which he learnt during his Baroque Works days. 

Hunting pirate hunters would gain him more money than hunting pirates. 

Since he is bait, he doesn't need to worry about finding them. 

After this incident, Josh expected that his bounty would increase. 

Walking to the middle of the ship, Josh turned his arms to Demon's arms and tried to summon the red energy, trying to learn more about it. 

His new talent should teach him now. 

While not understanding, but believing he will at some points, he started practising Kung Fu and Judo stances. 

By the end of the day, Josh slept tired after eating and having some sex because of his mysterious stamina with Mikita. 

A long journey is waiting for him, and Josh just began it.

"Josh… Josh…. Wake up" 

Josh felt hands shaking him. 

Waking up, he noticed Mikita was sleeping next to him, her boobs on his chest and a smile on her face. 

Since she doesn't sleep-talk, he assumed that it was not her. 

"What's happening, Robin." Yawning, Josh sat up. 

Robin was looking at one poster while sitting on the edge of the ship. 

"Hey. It's dangerous for you to sit there." Josh said with wariness, which made Robin bit her bottom lip to hide her smile. 

Turning at him, she said. "Josh, your bounty…" 

Josh felt the sleeping going away from his face as he remembered the detail. 

Since he slept like a babe last day, he almost forgot his battle against T-Bone and X-Drake, which only increased his fighting skills and swordsmanship. 

"Wait. How much." Josh opened his eyes as the lethargic was washed away from them. 

"You look." With her blue eyes opened up, Robin turned the poster toward Josh slowly. 

Josh caught the poster and looked at his new bounty.
