Mountain and Forest Kingdom

Lawrence built a simple wooden frame and placed it in the sleeping area.

What Lawrence gave was a graduated cup. This thing looks like just a cup and is of no use to many people. However, it is not complicated to make. As long as you follow it strictly, you can determine the approximate food storage.

Salil shook her head and said earnestly: "Lawrence, eating is a sacred thing. You can eat whatever you want. If you want to eat more, you can put more noodles. We can't have our mouths pinched even when we eat. I don’t like this stuff.”

Saryl returned the graduated cup to Lawrence and went out to work.

If you don’t need it, don’t use it. I’ll change it to a smaller one for Sophia in the future.

Lawrence set out for the mountains and began a busy day.

The stone houses on the mountain are still very simple. They have not yet been capped, and the problems with moisture, doors and windows have not been solved.

This is just a backup place. Lawrence will disturb Andrew's house for a while after Andrew comes back.

If you have an unpleasant experience and need to find a place to sleep by yourself, then this is the best choice.

I hadn't been to the mountain for several days, and when I got in front of the stone house, I found that the trap in the stone house had been triggered.

In order to control rats, simple collapse traps were set up near nearby rocks. Later, several sloping rocks were also placed in the stone house.

The stone house can be protected from some strong winds, and the dark hole is full of concealment for small animals. Rabbits, mice, and foxes all like to run here.

There were leftover rat corpses in Lawrence's stone house.

"It's really troublesome..." Lawrence sighed, found a branch and threw the mouse with only its tail and part of its fur out.

If prey is not harvested immediately, it can easily be stolen by other predators.

Especially in winter, when it is difficult to find food, most predators are accustomed to trying their luck.

Lawrence checked around and found that the hay collected earlier was already wet, probably due to the previous heavy fog and water vapor on the mountain.

"I forgot to make moisture-proof settings..."

Lawrence thought about the problem at hand and quickly thought of a solution.

"You can put a circle of wooden boards in the round house to create a comfortable home floor. It would be nice to have moisture-proof wooden boards and carpets in the winter, as well as a warm fireplace for heating!"

Lawrence soon had a plan.

First, use ropes and wooden sticks to actually measure the tools and materials needed later, then pile hay into the stone house, and put leftover food scraps inside the stone house, as well as a suspended noose trap.

Lawrence sprinkled the trap with wet grass blades, and the mutton residue inside was enough to attract some small animals.

After doing all this, it was time to go down the mountain. Lawrence looked at the darkening sky and sped up to return to the house before dark.

"Strange, why does it feel like the days are getting shorter and shorter? Although this is the case in winter, it's a little too fast?"

Lawrence thought about it after returning home and quickly decided to make two timing props to locate the time.

One is placed here in the house and the other is placed on the mountain, so that both parties can have a tacit psychological preparation.
