Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 27

Chapter 27-Forbidden Book Zone

Holding a slip of entry and exit from the restricted book zone, Ulysses left Professor Lockhart’s office with satisfaction.

And he didn’t know that what he was doing in the Defence Against the Dark Arts class swept across Hogwarts with a tsunami.

Within a short period of time, everyone knew that the transfer student had a duel with Professor Lockhart, and it seemed to have won.

For a time, two voices appeared in the school: one was that Professor Lockhart was an out-and-out idiot, and his reputation was all blown out; the other was that Ulysses was too strong, if Luo Professor Hart’s strength is really as strong as the rumors, Ulysses who defeated him can be imagined.

Ulysses didn’t know the situation yet. When he returned to the common room, he passed through the stone gate and was shocked to find a bunch of people waiting for him in front of him.

The headed Tracy Shafik was talking to several other girls, and when he saw Ulysses coming in, his eyes lit up and took the initiative to greet him.

“Mr. Lestrange, good noon. I still want you to seriously consider my invitation. You see, in just one day, there are already so many people in our mutual aid association.”

Ulysses glanced at the crowd, mostly junior wizards.

Draco with platinum hair still had faint excitement on his face, and he persuaded him:

“Ulysses, you can join the mutual aid club. With your participation, the future will be brighter.”

Standing beside him was a slightly sorry girl, looking at Draco with an admiring look, making his waist straighter unconsciously.

“Sorry, Malfoy, I’m really busy these days. Miss Shafik, thank you for your kind invitation, but…”

Ulysses shook his head and clearly refused.

“All right.”

Tracy seemed to have expected it a long time ago, “When the mutual aid association develops and grows, I will invite you again.”

Ulysses opened his mouth to speak and then stopped, saying that you shouldn’t be wasting your efforts. However, if you change your mind to say so, it would be too unpleasant to face. Anyway, others are sincere, and in the end they just nodded and didn’t say more.

“Mr. Lestrange, did you really defeat Professor Lockhart in Defence Against the Dark Arts class?”

Ulysses just wanted to go back to the dormitory, but he heard a clear, melodious voice.

Ulysses followed the fame and saw a girl with a good face but with doubts.

“I’m Daphne Greengrass in the second grade.”

Seeing the strangeness in Ulysses’ eyes, the girl took the initiative to explain.

“Nothing.”

Ulysses smiled, not wanting to be too pushy in Hogwarts. He was a little impulsive in class purely because of something about the abyss organization. Now he naturally has to find a way to keep a low profile.

“Professor Lockhart only used one spell. If he goes all out, I am definitely not an opponent.”

Daphne looked relieved, her meager lips curled up, and she said triumphantly:

“Let me just say, how could Professor Lockhart lose? He is a wizard who can easily deal with werewolf vampires.”

The girl was obviously Professor Lockhart’s fan girl, Ulysses could only smile and nod, and walked to the corridor.

“Is what you said true?”

She asked in a low voice, with a smile in her eyebrows, when he passed by Millie Bosd who was sitting in a soft chair reading a book.

“certainly.”

Ulysses affirmed calmly and walked back to the dormitory.

There was only one herbal medicine lesson in the afternoon. Sprout took the students to the third greenhouse, briefly introduced the method of caring for the bubble pods, and let them explore on their own.

Ulysses was not interested in the herbal medicine class, and he was the first to walk out of the greenhouse until the end of the class.

From now on until the evening is a break time, just in time to go to the library.

The library is located on the fifth floor of the tower. As soon as Ulysses stepped into this place, he felt a classical and atmospheric book fragrance rushing to his face. It displays the wisdom of the wizards of the past thousands of years. It is said unceremoniously that anyone who has read half of the library’s books is the most knowledgeable person in the world.

Countless bookcases are densely and neatly arranged, so you can’t see them at a glance. Many wizards that Ulysses did not know shuttled among the bookcases, rummaged from time to time, and seemed to be senior students working hard for exams.

Next to the exit is a management room, in which sits a thin and elderly woman who looks like a malnourished vulture. She was reading a book with her, and after hearing the sound of footsteps, she raised her eyelids and glanced at Ulysses, and said dryly: “You must not make a loud noise after entering the library, you must not eat, especially you must not enter the restricted area without permission. Otherwise I don’t think you want to know what the consequences are.”

Ulysses took out the pass note and handed it to the administrator, Mrs. Pins.

Mrs. Pins helped her glasses and looked at the note very seriously, as if she was about to see a flower from above. After confirming that Professor Lockhart’s signature was not abnormal, she muttered, took out a bunch of keys, and said angrily:

“follow me.”

Ulysses didn’t care, and Mrs. Pince’s mood had nothing to do with him, as long as he could get in.

Going to the depths of the library is a simple iron gate. Looking in through the iron gate, a gloomy breath reverberated in it, but with a hint of temptation, Ulysses was tempted to go in and find out.

Mrs. Pins opened the door, stared at Ulysses and said:

“You must come out before closing.”

“Don’t worry, ma’am.”

Ulysses said softly and stepped into the restricted area.

The forbidden book area is as gloomy as a cellar, and people only feel that the pores are full of coolness. Some titles are chilling at first glance, and the covers are even more terrifying.

For example, there is a book “The Secret History of Witches,” on the cover of a scrawny witch tied to a fire stand, screaming to the sky.

But Ulysses’s face was calm. He has read too many similar books in the two Leicesterrange houses in France and England, and he has long been accustomed to it.

He subconsciously compared the forbidden book area with the book collection in the family. The school’s books are more comprehensive, and each Realm has been involved, while the family’s collection of books is relatively single, and it is more functional and purposeful.

Ulysses searched the bookshelf, and he could roughly understand what the book was about just by looking at the title of the book, so the efficiency was fairly fast.

It’s just that the books on top-level polymorphism are too scarce. Ulysses searched most of the forbidden book area, but didn’t see the words related to it.

But Ulysses has patience. In his view, patience is an indispensable quality.

Finally, when night fell outside, he stopped in a remote corner and reached out to take out a book from the shelf.

The title of the book is “The Secret of Top Transfiguration”.

He opened the book, saw the words “Elemental Transfiguration” in the catalog, and no longer hesitated. He took the book to Mrs. Pins to register, and after repeated assurances that it would not be damaged by graffiti, he took the book away smoothly.

After he turned around, Mrs. Pince glanced at his back. There was a brief period of doubt and thought in the eyes of the eagle-like bird, but she soon focused her attention on her large book.
