Chapter 25
Chapter 25
After Ulysses’s voice fell, the classroom was so quiet that needles fell.
Everyone dared not show up, with different expressions on their faces, awe, fear, fanaticism, etc., and so on.
Professor Lockhart only felt that his feet were soft, and he held his hands on the edge of the platform, barely supporting his body.
“Mr. Lestrange… really likes to joke…”
Professor Lockhart’s pale paper face squeezed a smile, and the smiley face that had been awarded for many times looked so helpless at this time.
The wand was not far away from him, but he didn’t dare to pick it up, lest Ulysses would misunderstand what he had in mind and cast him another evil spell.
“I’m not kidding.”
Ulysses smiled and said, blinking at Professor Lockhart, “I think the professor must have a lot to say to me, right?”
“Ha ha.”
Professor Lockhart gave a dry laugh, suppressed the trembling voice as much as possible, and said to the class:
“This is the end of the duel demonstration. Next, you read the textbook for yourself, and Lestrange will go out with me.”
After speaking, he picked up the wand, put it in his pocket, and walked out of the classroom with a slightly swaying pace.
Ulysses followed him, and when he left, he glanced at McLagen again, his expression intriguing.
McLagen felt his heart sank to the bottom. The terrifying aura exuding from Ulysses’ wand just now made him feel palpitations from a distance. The credibility of Ulysses’s “just kidding” would be greatly doubted.
After the two of them walked out of the classroom, the students were relieved from the shock. They leaned together in twos and threes and discussed in low voices, always paying attention to the door, for fear that the subject of discussion would come in again from the outside unpreparedly.
Professor Lockhart’s office is on the third floor. There are countless picture frames hanging on the wall, illuminated by many candles. There are even pictures of him on a few.
There are also a large stack of photos on the table, as well as some opened envelopes.
Ulysses sat on the sofa, raised one leg, put his right hand on his leg to support his chin, staring at Professor Lockhart with blue agate-like eyes, and slowly took out the pocket watch.
Professor Lockhart’s pupils shrank violently, and finally determined that what he had seen was not an illusion. A wry smile appeared on his face, and he lamented:
“Unexpectedly, I have become a sorcerer who can only forget the curse. I have already hid in Hogwarts. You can still find me.”
Ulysses’ expression was like ice, without a trace of change, but the thoughts in his mind were running at high speed, analyzing the information in Professor Lockhart’s words.
Listen to what he meant, did he have enemies with the Abyss Organization before? Or is it that he was originally a member of the Abyss organization, but just escaped from the organization for some reason?
“Go on.”
Ulysses raised his chin slightly, seemingly unmoved.
“I promise, I have not revealed the secrets of the organization. I have sweated for the organization, and I have contributed to the organization…”
Seeing Ulysses’ icy attitude, Professor Lockhart began to panic again, begging for mercy in a hurry, “I have no complaints if I abolish all my other magic, I just…I just want to be a professor at ease… …You can’t kill me…”
Speaking of the end, Professor Lockhart’s voice had a bit of crying.
Ulysses still looked at him quietly. When he saw Professor Lockhart’s despair, he suddenly smiled and said slowly:
“Professor, I didn’t seem to say that I was a member of that organization, did I?”
After a brief period of thought, Ulysses gave up the idea of pretending to be a man of the abyss. Seeing Professor Lockhart’s appearance, he was obviously extremely terrified of the Abyss, so let him put his guard down to better inquire about the information of the Abyss Organization.
Professor Lockhart’s expression was like a petrification curse, solidified on his face, and faintly revealed the ecstasy of unbelievable and escaped birth, which looked very funny.
He pointed to the pocket watch in Ulysses’s hand and stammered:
“But, but that kind of token is only available to the official members of the organization…”
“That is my trophy.”
Ulysses said softly.
“Really?”
Professor Lockhart was overjoyed. He sat on the ground with his right hand slapping his chest and muttered, “I said, how come there is a fifteen-year-old official in the abyss…Wait, you said this is your trophy?”
Ulysses smiled and nodded, but his tone was not friendly:
“I killed a dark wizard and got this from her. Therefore, I probably understand what the people in that organization are doing… Professor, you said you used to be one of them, that thing It’s very serious.”
“and many more!”
Professor Lockhart raised his hands and hurriedly said, “I’m just a non-staff! I don’t even have the qualifications to get tokens. Where can I get the chance to do things that hurt the world?”
He really had a sense of fear for this third-grade student. Any official member of the organization can hang him up and fight, and Ulysses has the ability to kill them. Isn’t Lockhart able to deal with him?
Ulysses sneered, rubbing his wand with his left hand, and the light words were as heavy as a mountain in Professor Lockhart’s ears:
“Professor, you are not honest… Do you need me to remind you of what is going on in your “writings”? Or do you think that as long as you don’t kill people, it’s not a bad idea?”
Professor Lockhart became stiff, with a desperate expression of “You even know this” on his face. After a long while, he sighed heavily, and said in a smashing tone:
“I can explain this matter… but it’s a long story…”
“You’d better think about it before you talk.”
Ulysses interrupted him with a smile, “If I lie again, I will consider whether to use Veritaserum… or Imperius is a more convenient method.”
Professor Lockhart shrank his shoulders and sat on the ground in deep thought. When Ulysses was a little impatient, he said quietly:
“About ten years ago, I just graduated from Hogwarts and officially entered the magic world. At that time, I not only used the Forgotten Curse, but I was completely strong enough to apply for an Auror.”
“But I am more by nature… vain, not willing to be just an unknown Auror, but determined to spread my reputation throughout the magical world, so I decided to travel around the world and write a biography of my magical adventure… …”
“At that time, the power of the Dark Lord was flourishing… By the way, the Dark Lord was also a member of the Abyss Organization, and one of the seven highest-ranking people in the organization. But later, the Dark Lord did not know why, from the Abyss Organization Get out of it and go it alone, and those who follow him are today called Death Eaters.”
Ulysses’ eyes narrowed slightly. He didn’t expect that Professor Lockhart would tell such a big secret as soon as he opened his words.
