Chapter 16
Chapter 16 Happy Curse
Until he was on his way to the classroom, Anderson was still chattering in Ulysses’ ears.
However, when a girl walked by, his temperament changed, his head held high, with a smile on his face, he greeted them in a friendly manner, a vivid image of aristocracy.
When there was no one around, he changed back to that idiot again, chasing Ulysses and asking about Fleur.
Ulysses frowned secretly. He knew very well that Anderson’s behavior was just a commotion that he could not get. If he succeeded, Furong’s position in his heart might not be any different from the girls he had been with before.
Therefore, Ulysses had no expression on his face and said softly:
“Anderson, stop thinking about the idea of playing Fleur.”
“Oh?”
The smile on Anderson’s face was slightly stiff, and he immediately adjusted his expression, and said playfully, “Well, then, a gentleman is not in his favor.”
Ulysses was noncommittal. This advice is the best for Anderson to listen to. If he doesn’t listen, then he can only ask for his own blessings.
Anderson squinted his eyes, a strange light flowing in his eyes.
Seeing that the atmosphere was a little stiff, Gerrard, who couldn’t talk to the side, took the initiative to pick a topic:
“Speaking of which, Ulysses, what course did you take in the third grade?”
In the third grade at Hogwarts, in addition to the seven compulsory courses, at least two elective courses in divination, arithmetic and divination, ancient runes, protection of magical creatures, and Muggle studies are also required. As a result, the third-year homework is more onerous than before. Not only is the difficulty of the course greatly improved, but there are also two more new courses to learn.
“Ancient Runes and protection of magical creatures.”
Ulysses replied. He has already bought the relevant textbooks at Lihen Bookstore.
He was born as a Muggle in his last life, so what kind of Muggle did he choose to study. As for fortune-telling, he was not interested in dealing with Trelawney’s sluggish half immortal.
On the one hand, he chose the ancient runes because he was very interested in this aspect, and the magic pattern is closely related to the ancient runes; he chose to protect the magical creatures… he did not forget those everywhere in the forbidden forest. Valuable material.
“Protecting magical creatures is boring, and the exam is quite simple. Last year we only needed to feed the disgusting Flobber caterpillars.”
Anderson said with a smile, there was nothing unusual on his face, it seemed that nothing happened just now.
“I heard that Professor Keitelburn retired after teaching this semester. I don’t know who his successor is.”
Gerrard said, without much concern in his tone, obviously he didn’t like the old professor very much.
“It’s the professor Babling from ancient Rune, but a rare beauty in school.”
Anderson looked around, making sure that no one was paying attention to their conversation before he smiled.
Ulysses felt that Western children are really precocious, and Anderson is only fifteen years old, and he has such a virtue. What will happen to him if he is given another ten years?
When they reached the castle hall, the three separated. They are going to Lockhart’s Defence Against the Dark Arts class, and Ulysses’s schedule is arranged for Professor Flitwick’s curse class.
The curse classroom was on the fourth floor, and there was a delay on the way, so Ulysses almost stepped on the bell to enter the classroom.
Inside, there is a clear distinction between the silver-green school gowns and the sky blue school gowns at both ends of the classroom.
This class is taught by Slytherin and Ravenclaw together.
Seeing Ulysses coming in, many people’s faces were a little disappointed. Everyone knows that although Professor Flitwick is kind, he is very strict about time. He hates people who are not punctual.
Everyone wanted to see how this transfer student was touched by Professor Flitwick when he first arrived.
Professor Flitwick was already in the classroom. He was standing on a magic book floating in the air, waving his wand, and nodded at him when he saw Ulysses coming in, and said with a smile:
“I thought you were lost, Mr. Lestrange. The stairs in the castle are really not very friendly to newcomers. I’m glad you are not late.”
Ulysses found an empty seat and sat down, took out the textbook and put it on the table.
Professor Flitwick cleared his throat and said loudly:
“I know that everyone has just come out of the happy time of the holiday. Today we will let your happiness last for a while. Turn to your “Standard Mantra, third-level” and turn to page eight. In this lesson, we Will learn the happiness spell.”
“Does anyone tell me what is the function of the happiness curse?”
Professor Flitwick stopped his movements and looked around the classroom, speaking faster.
Ulysses froze for a moment. Isn’t this a sub-question?
In his dazed effort, one of his white arms was already raised.
Professor Flitwick smiled and immediately said, “Choo Zhang, you will answer.”
“It can make the person who casts a spell happy.”
An oriental girl stood up and said crisply.
“Very well, Ravenclaw adds 5 points!”
Professor Flitwick waved his wand and said happily.
Ulysses felt three black lines on his forehead. The fierce competition in the Hogwarts College Cup can be seen from this, and every dean spares no effort to win points for his college.
“But, I need to remind you not to think that this is a simple spell. A successful happy spell can keep people in a good mood for the day, but if you fail… you’d better stay away from the person who casts the spell, otherwise I won’t I can guarantee what he will do to you.”
“The happy spell is written in the book. It is worth noting that the tongue needs to vibrate when the third tone is pronounced, and the angle of the wand must be adjusted at the same time…a smooth’S’ is drawn in the air…”
There was a sound of chanting spells in the classroom.
The little wizards were talking, drawing their wands, eager to try.
“You can find someone to practice in class, but I must warn you that it is not allowed to practice privately without the company of a professor after class. Now, let’s start.”
Professor Flitwick waved his hand, and the students underneath raised their arms and cheered, and couldn’t wait to cast a spell on their companions.
After two years of study, most of the students and classmates are very familiar with each other. Only Ulysses was left sitting alone, slightly embarrassed.
Professor Flitwick noticed this situation, and he directed the magic book at his feet to float in front of Ulysses, and said kindly:
“Mr. Lestrange, if you don’t mind, let me practice with you.”
Ulysses just wanted to draw out a card to do his own thing, but Professor Flitwick was kind and he was too embarrassed to refuse. After thinking about it, he took out his wand and said:
“Okay, Professor.”
Professor Flitwick nodded and said encouragingly:
“Cast me. Don’t be afraid that the spell will fail. As a professor of spells, I am not paid for nothing…”
“Excited.”
Ulysses said softly. The wand spit out a soft white beam, enveloping Professor Flitwick’s body.
The next moment, Professor Flitwick was radiant with naked eyes.
