Chapter 52 Uncle Number 2 1
52 Uncle Number 2 1
Regarding her addressing Qin Jiran as "Daddy", that was something Xiao Bao came up with. Xiao Bao told his little sister that they would eventually need to get used to calling their Uncle Ji as Daddy so it wouldn't be hard for them in the future, when their Mommy agrees to date him.
And the first step for it to happen was to let their Uncle Ji see how their Mommy could be stunningly beautiful compared to the rest of the women he'd met so far.
"You worry too much, Little Star. Daddy has to be here before Mommy comes down." The little boy said decisively. His young mind had decided that he and Little Star couldn't waste this chance to bring their Mommy and Uncle Ji together.
As a man, how would Uncle Ji be able to ignore their mother's charm when he and Little Star knew how popular their mother was with men. No matter if they were single, dating or even married, men couldn't help but turn their heads to check their Mommy out.
Too bad those men only wanted their Mommy for her looks and money-making skills. As soon as they found out about her having twins, their interest would suddenly falter. Some were even shameless enough to say that they would date her so long as she would get rid of them.
Tang Moyu only felt disgusted and irritated for them. This was one of the reasons she didn't make herself available for dating. Not only was it troublesome, but they also looked down on her pair of sweet buns.
Xiao Bao heard his little sister let out a gasp and saw her jerking off the seat to run outside to meet their Uncle Ji.
"Uncle Ji!" Little Star waved a hand to the man in his wheelchair as he wheeled himself to the main house with an unknown man walking next to him.
"Hi, Little Star. Ready for a sleepover tonight?" Feng Tianyi asked and took a glimpse inside the main house to see if the empress had already left. It did catch him off guard that she was willing to leave her children in his care.
"Are you looking for Mommy?" Xiao Bao grinned, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Has she left yet? I was hoping to introduce her to a friend of mine." Feng Tianyi glanced at the man standing beside him.
The smile on the little boy's face faltered as he regarded the unknown man.
"Uncle Ji, who is this?" Xiao Bao asked.
The unknown man was also handsome like their Uncle Ji, but there was a hint of boredom on his face, like nothing he could see nor meet would spark interest in him.
He Lianchen tried hard not to roll his eyes. If he could be honest to himself, he'll say that Feng Tianyi's change recently was unexpected. The seemingly forever darkening circles under his eyes were now gone, his complexion a bit healthier than before.
He didn't want to admit it, but Song Fengyan was right when he told him that Feng Tianyi was getting better these days. Ever since the devil met Tang Moyu's little buns, talking and dealing with Feng Tianyi was easier and tolerable compared to before.
He supposed it was because these kids weren't afraid of Feng Tianyi, something he and Song Fengyan hadn't seen happen before. However, there was something familiar about this little boy in front of him that He Lianchen couldn't point out.
"Hi. I'm He Lianchen." He offered a hand to Xiao Bao for a shake, while Feng Tianyu entered the main house under Little Star's insistence.
"Tang Feiyu." Xiao Bao shook the older man's hand and glanced at his sister. "So what should Little Star and I call you?"
He Lianchen regarded him for a moment and shrugged. "I dunno, perhaps I'm your Uncle Number 3 since you already have Qin Jiran and Song Fengyan as your uncles."
Xiao Bao knitted his brows and shook his head in response.
"That can't be. You'll be our Uncle Number 2." The boy nonchalantly corrected He Lianchen.
"How so?" He Lianchen was curious as to why he ended up as number two. Considering the twins called Feng Tianyi and Song Fengyan as their uncles, shouldn't be the third one?
"No reason. You're simply our Uncle Number 2 from now on." The devilish grin on the little boy's face reminded He Lianchen of Feng Tianyi's boyish smile when they were younger. Thinking about it, were these children Feng Tianhua's children? Because there was no way in hell that these two cute buns were Feng Tianyi's.
It would be impossible for the devil not to know that he'd sired children, given how adamant he was not to start his own family. Given how his father abandoned him and his mother, Feng Tianyi had already lost his belief in familial ties.
When He Lianchen entered the main house, he was surprised to see the cleanliness and the interior decor inside. Her home was spacious and naturally lit by the daylight coming from the outside. He'd expected the empress to be meticulous in her own home but the homey and comfortable ambiance ideal for children was a little beyond his expectations.
The twins went upstairs to check on their mother, leaving the two men alone in the living area.
"So mind telling me since when did you become a house husband?" He Lianchen asked the devil.
