Chapter 126 – Shut Up, Already
"I heard a lot about Lord Jay from my mother. You saw how good-looking he was; I heard he had many admirers, even though he married Lord Tsunade. And my mother was one of them," Mirai walked with Boruto and Sasuke, talking about the past.
"But how did he restore your arm by just snapping his finger," Boruto tilted his head in confusion.
Sasuke hesitated, speaking, "Well, Sensei...isn't from our world."
"So...he's like Otsutsuki's?"
Sasuke nodded, "You could say that, but at the same time, different. I heard that he was injured when he fell onto this world, and Lady Tsunade found him, curing him. As she cured him, they fell in love, and so rather than returning home, he decided to stay in this world. Still, he possessed power vastly superior to any Shinobi. As you just saw how easily he poked a hole in the space-time continuum to jump to this side. Even when he said that the timeline is blocked or restoring my arm."
"He sounds so amazing...but then, how did he die?" Boruto curiously asked, "I mean, I have heard that he died to defeat Kaguya Otsutsuki...but was she that strong?"
"He..." Sasuke thought about it, realizing something, smiling, closing his eyes, "I didn't think I didn't realize it till now. He did something that made him lose his powers, and so he didn't have enough power to defeat Kaguya then."
Sasuke looked back at Boruto and Mirai, a bit worried, "Since before I was born, much of Konoha's history has been effect just by his presence. Since he doesn't exist in this world...the history here would be vastly different. So be careful about what you say, or you don't. I have to check on a few things."
Near Hotsprings,
Jay watched Tsunade with a smile, who noticed his look, "Do you want something from me?"
Jay rubbed the back of his neck, seeing her not give him a good look, "No...you just remind me so much of my wife that I want to just go back home and give her a hug."
"Oh."
Jay waved his hand, "Keep up the good work. You can do it, Fifth Hokage."
"Hm," Tsunade strangely looked at him, walking away when she turned around to see that he had disappeared. She narrowed her eyes, "How did he know...security of the village is so lax nowadays."
She turned around, sighing, "One step at a time, Tsunade."
A Few Days Later,
"Hm," Jay looked in the distance, holding a book in his hand, "The Otsutsuki..."
"Sir Jay! Look! I did it!"
Jay looked towards Mirai, who he had been training, "Oh, show me."
"Yes!" Mirai bubbled up, making hand signs, "Storm Style: Laser Circus!!" She released beams of electricity that flowed like water, striking against the barrier Jay put so she didn't destroy the environment.
He jumped down from the tree, patting her head, "Good job. See, I told you, if you try, then you can master any Kekkei Genkai."
"Ehehe," Mirai giggled to herself when Jay whispered, "So? Did you go see your Dad?"
Mirai froze, panicking, looking away, "Umm...I did...for a bit..."
"I see; you should go see him again because your time here is soon coming to an end," Jay looked in the distance, warning her.
"What? Really?" Mirai bit her lip, conflicted, clenching her fists, "I will be back right away!"
"Take your time," Jay smiled, "Just create an illusion of me, and I will be there, ok?"
"Yes!" Mirai confusedly blinked but believed him as she ran off. He watched her go off, turning his attention towards the other direction.
"Hmm," Jay narrowed his eyes, "Now then....the Otsutsuki..."
In the little time his future counterpart had before being sealed, they had the Hogyoku. It took him a little time to weed out the possibility, but he did realize there was something he would like to do if he had the Hogyoku.
He moved at high speed, appearing above the sky where Urashiki fought against Jiraiya, Sasuke, Boruto, and Naruto.
Urashiki pulled back, backing away, looking at Jay, "Who are you? I have no information about you."
Jay looked down at Urashiki, pointing his finger at him, making sense of death cover Urashiki. The latter used his blue Rinnegan to see his death. He grits his teeth, appearing behind Jay, piercing the pole towards his shoulder, but the fishing pole broke apart.
Jay leisurely looked back, "Some kind of temporal Jutsu? I see; you possess a troublesome technique."
"What kind of monster are you?" Urashiki back away again, using his red Rinne Sharingan to open a hole in the fabric of space to escape. But Jay broke it apart, taking him by his collar from between the layers of space, throwing him to the ground.
"No! How is that possible!" Urashiki's eyes widened in fear before they were covered in anger, "How dare you! You mon-"
"Shut up already," Jay blasted Urashiki's body, killing him effortlessly, "So damn talkative."
He wrapped around the soul of the Otsutsuki, turning it into marble, putting it inside the seal where he put his future body. He landed in front of Sasuke, "That was the guy who was giving you trouble?"
"U-uh-uh," Boruto's hand was shivering as he pointed towards Jay, "You..."
Sasuke let out a smile, "As always, Sensei is really strong."
"I'd say you have gotten weaker," Jay rolled his eyes, "You don't want to use your eyes properly, even not healing your arm for so long. You were stronger as a kid."
"Wait, who are-" Jiraiya and Naruto's eyes turned blank as they froze, "I'll give you enough time to say goodbye, but once you are done here, go home."
"Wait, Sensei...there is one more thing I want to ask you. Last time Boruto was the one who dealt the final blow and-"
Jay raised Boruto's hand, seeing the Karma mark, "Hm, it's like a compressed drive containing their biological data that will over time rewrite Boruto's. It also contains Momoshiki's soul inside it."
"Can you take it out?"
Jay smiled as Sasuke said, "I can, but I have no idea what the future me has planned. I don't want to make a mess. Especially after the world has changed. Right...Mirai told me that your kid created something like a headset that lets you live old memories?"
Sasuke breathed in, "Yeah, I think, but Sensei, about that mark."
Jay threw a diary at Sasuke, "Inside it is the past, present, and the future of this timeline. It should be helpful for the story and training."
Jay took out his sealed body, giving it to Sasuke, "Here, say my goodbyes to Mirai...I have to leave."
Sasuke caught the notebook, moving to look at Jay, who disappeared, scratching his head, "Damn it, Sensei..."
