Chapter 120 – Hospitalized
Garra was floating in the sky; he and Shinki used sand and iron sand to attack Urashiki, who dodged their attacks. But Urashiki didn't have it easy since Guren appeared to attack him every time he avoided sand and iron sand.
He had already opened the gate of the sixth gate; even then, with his speed, he was barely able to keep up with Urashiki. Still needing support from Garra and Shinki.
The fight was at its peak when Guren abruptly pulled out, appearing beside Garra and Shinki.
Garra gave him a look to see if he was tired, "Tired?"
"No, I almost forgot this thing had another use," Guren scratched his cheek, taking off the gauntlet, putting it in Sasuke's hand, "These things have my chakra stored in them. You should be able to absorb them with your eye, right?"
"Your chakra," Sasuke held the gauntlet, only to feel massive chakra churning inside it, sighing, smiling, "You..."
Guren took out the other one, throwing it at him, "Sorry, I was just having too much fun."
Sasuke caught it, absorbing the chakra, feeling his powers restored, standing up, "I see..."
"This is not a game!" Shinki glared at him, arguing, when Guren looked up at Iron Sand falling, "Focus."
He jumped up in the sky, tearing through the sky; now that more of his chakra was free, he could quickly summon the nebulous wings on his back to increase the speed.
"Is that?" Garra asked Sasuke, who nodded, confirming, "Susanoo."
He used the falling Iron Sand as footsteps, rushing towards Urashiki, entering between the fray of sands to fight against him.
Urashiki barely had the upper hand before, and now it was even worse for him.
"You are crazy, aren't you!" Even dodging all the attacks, Urashiki could see through his body, breaking apart, "Someone weak like you shouldn't be able to use the technique. Your body is breaking apart, right?!"
Guren punched the air beside Urashiki's head, causing a whirlwind to smash some of the sands away. There was a wild grin on his lips, "Does it matter?! I just want to fight!! So entertain me more!! Otsutsuki!!!"
Urashiki jerked his to the side, causing the hook to turn towards the right, making a U-Turn for Guren, but Sasuke cut it down, "I am here too."
"You two! Heh, I'll retreat for now. It's not like your kid will survive for long," A red Rinnegan with six tomoe appeared in his eyes as he created a gap in the fabric of space. He backed away, disappearing into the portal.
Guren clenched his fist in frustration, feeling his eyes become heavy, "Damn you, Otsutsuki..."
Sasuke caught him before he fell down, letting out a breath of relief, "Someone needs to put a leash on you."
Guren let out a short laugh, closing his eyes, "Ah...there is so much I want to say about that sentence..."
Sasuke landed beside Garra, Shinki, Boruto, and Mirai. His eyes looked towards Kankuro, who had just reached here, "It seems he has retreated for now."
"Your son..." Garra looked towards Guren, making Sasuke shake his head, "He'll be alright."
"But that technique...?"
"I'll explain to you later."
"I see," Garra nodded, "Then let's go to the Village and get him some medical attention."
"Thank you."
Mirai hastily walked over to Sasuke, "Sir Sasuke, let me carry him."
Sasuke looked at her, "Why are you here?"
"Umm, I don't know," Mirai looked down, pressing her lips with a blushing face, "I thought...it was to...protect him..."
"Huh," Boruto finally freed himself, laughing, pointing at Mirai, "Big Sis Mirai, you are joking?"
"Shut up, Boruto!" Mirai hit his head, making his quiet down, as Sasuke nodded, carrying Guren, "Thank you for that."
The Next Day,
Guren opened his eyes, stirring in the hospital bed, opening his violet eyes, "Mmm, I feel so much better."
The aching body yesterday, full of cracks, seemed to have healed. Guren could feel more strength in every cell of his body, smiling.
"You are awake."
Guren blinked, turning to the side, seeing a young woman with green hair and two strands of orange hair framing her face, "Who are you? Miss?"
Pakura parted her lips, showing two sharp canines like bats, "Did you forget? You changed me. We are connected."
"Hm," Guren raised his eyebrows, "But I lost that power...I don't think it's even in my Karma."
Pakura cupped his cheek, "It must be there somewhere...why didn't you come to see me?"
"Too heartless?'
"Yes."
"Sorry."
"For not coming to see me or for being too heartless?"
"You guess," Guren winked at her, acting cute.
In retaliation, Pakura knocked on his forehead, "Don't you dare act cute with me when I am angry at you."
Guren chuckled, "Are you angry at me...or the immortality you so asked for?"
Pakura's fingers froze; she slid into the medical bed with him. She caressed his hair, "My hyperactive student became a smart and responsible young woman, married, and now has two children."
"That sounds similar to Naruto..."
Pakura closed her eyes, lightly laughing, "Mph, I know...I have been watching."
"You married?"
"No...silly."
Guren gently smiled, his face resting between her breasts, "That...makes me a little happy."
Pakura pulled his ear, "That makes me even angrier...should have just gotten married. And what are you doing? Transforming into a child?"
Guren's eyes turned into a Shirangan as he raised his head, looking into Pakura's eyes, showing her through the genjutsu, "It's a bit more long-winded than that."
Pakura was in a daze for a while, but when she broke out of it, she sat up, making a fist, slamming towards his face, "Why did you not come to me!"
Guren tilted his head, barely dodging in time, letting out a sigh of relief, "Well, it's complicated...for one, I can't just leave the village or write you a letter to call you. Or any other thing that might leave behind a clue. So I can only tell a few that I meet...and I want to. I didn't even tell Temari was some time. Only Sakura knew...and then Hinata...and all that."
"How can you be so heartless," Pakura clutched his collar, raising him, seeing the gentle look in his eyes.
"You just learn to let go of things...people...sentiments...pride. I call that brat Sasuke, Dad now. When you start looking at a century as one year, living in a world as a vacation...then things tend to change. You are immortal now...you'll understand."
Pakura nibbled her lip, bending forward, burying her head in his neck as she closed her eyes, "I don't think...I want to..."
Guren stroked her head, kissing her cheek, "Oh my Pakura...it's ok...I am here now..."
