Chapter 203 - Escaped
Chapter 203: Escaped
The air in the prison was always cold and humid, and there was a lot of strange smells mixed in. The prisoners on this floor were mostly vicious murderers. They either died slowly or were imprisoned for life! In any case, there was no chance for them to get out. Being trapped in this dark cage was their only outcome!
The things Gao Jue had committed were not actually to the extent of being imprisoned on the first floor. However, there were always some people who wanted to cling onto the Fu family’s legs. Therefore, they could only let Gao Jue suffer!
In the past, he had thought that money and power were the most important things in this world! However, during this period of torture in this hellish prison, he had changed his mind. Freedom and fairness were the most important things! This place was not a place that normal people could stay in. He was about to be tortured to the point of going crazy!
Curled up in the corner, Gao Jue hugged his shoulders. The coldness in this place was bone-piercing. The most fatal thing was that hope was becoming more and more invisible!
The sound of the teaching stick knocking on the iron door gave Gao Jue a fright. He trembled and raised his head to look. This had already become his subconscious reaction. He was afraid when he heard the loud noise, because there were always people who would ‘educate’ him like this!
“Come out!” The prison guard pressed down on his hat. A pair of eyes under the brim of the hat had a dim light in them!
Gao Jue did not know what he was calling him for. He slowly stood up. The prison guard directly opened the door and motioned for him to walk in front!
After walking past a few camera blind spots, the prison guard took out a black mask and covered his head. Gao Jue was so scared that he almost peed. He cried out, “Don’t hit me! Please, Big Brother, don’t hit me! Spare me!”
Seeing his half-human and half-ghost appearance, the prison guard lost his patience. “If you want to get out alive, shut up! Someone will take you to see Fifth Master!”
Gao Jue didn’t know who Fifth Master was, but when he heard that he could get out, he slowly quieted down!
Li Qin squatted by a vent outside the prison and looked at the time silently. This was too risky! They never knew that Fifth Master had his own connections in this city’s prison!
Sounds came from the vent. Then, Li Qin saw a person crawling out and grabbing the collar of the person who came over. Li Qin said, “Gao Jue?”
Gao Jue had crawled in the pipe for a long time. Before he could even catch his breath, someone grabbed his life. He quickly replied, “It’s me!”
“Follow me!” Li Qin pulled off the hood on his head and walked in front of him!
Gao Jue’s eyes were filled with darkness. He did not dare to disobey the prison guard. If he dared to take off his hood, he would kill him immediately! Now that his hood had been taken off, he finally saw clearly that he had been released from prison! Oh my god! Did the heavens hear his prayers?
He pressed his body down and followed behind Li Qin, forcefully suppressing his excitement and ecstasy! He had finally come out of that d*mned place. Even though the place was overgrown with weeds and the smell of all kinds of rotten vegetation mixed together, he still felt that the air was so wonderful!
Little did he know that fortuitous encounters that were not in line with reality often required a huge price to pay!
Gao Jue was supported by Li Qin as he sat in the black van that came to pick him up. He was breathing heavily as he huddled close to the car window and looked at Li Qin vigilantly!
Li Qin looked at him and smiled sarcastically. “Isn’t it too late to be on guard now?”
Gao Jue swallowed his saliva with difficulty, “To be able to come out of that d*mned place and die there, it’s all worth it!” Li Qin looked at him and his phone suddenly rang. He looked at the message on it!
[Tell Fifth Master that we’re even this time! What happened after that has nothing to do with me!]
Li Qin smiled and turned off his phone. These people nowadays! If you have the guts to do it, you should have the guts to admit it. You should be hiding in the dark like maggots, not daring to show yourself? You are worse off than them!
Turning his head to look at him, Li Qin licked his dry lips and asked, “Do you know who saved you?”
Gao Jue thought about what the prison guard said just now and asked, “Fifth Master?”
“It’s good that you know! You are not completely muddled!” Li Qin said as he handed him a bottle of water!
Gao Jue took it and didn’t say anything else. In such a situation, it was better to observe more and be more careful. After all, it would be less wrong to say the least!
When Uncle Sun picked up Si Mi from the hospital, Fu Zhen wasn’t home yet. He was puzzled. “This shouldn’t be! Just now, he told me to pick you up and have dinner at home.”
Si Mi took off her coat. The air conditioner at home was turned on comfortably. She held her cell phone. “Let me ask! Maybe he’s working overtime again!”
