Yakob arrived almost instantly in front of Ban. 

Not wasting any more time, Ban no longer considered anything as he donned his Ant Mask, Noble Moth Cloak and all of his items together. Fortunately, the System was also quick at gearing him up. He was eventually covered by all of his gears in no time at all. 

In front of Ban, Yakob raised his hands and reached out towards Ban. 

Ban could not see any ounce of strength accompanying it so he immediately guessed that Yakob was not intending to hurt him probably because he was still apprehensive about his companions, and instead, it looked like Yakob only wanted to capture him. He was probably planning to just make him a hostage. 

After he donned his gears, Ban was no longer as fearful as before. The Ant Mask and the Noble Moth Cloak are both indestructible items within the Singular and the Multi Realm. Heck, even the powerful Elder Red Panda could only make the Ant Mask crack. 

He was confident that he could take some blows, but he also knew his limitations. After all, the Ant Mask and the Noble Moth Cloak did not give him absolute protection. He could still be damaged from the impact. 

At the corner of his eyes, he saw the Yak intercepting someone who emerged from the shadow. When Ban thought it was Rila, his guardian, he was taken aback when he realized it was actually an ostrich. 

The ostrich slammed its body right into the head of the Yak, both of them took two steps back in the process. 

Meanwhile, a shadow suddenly emerges from behind the ostrich, it was no other than Rila, who was now moving towards Ban and Yakob, trying to save the former from the hands of the latter. 

Eva also transformed herself into her battle mode right off the bat, preparing for the incoming attack. Even though she knew that Yakob was stronger, there was not an ounce of dread present on her face at this moment. It was clear to see that she wasn't afraid of the D-Rank Summoner in front of her. 

All of this happened almost in an instant. Yakob's hand was still reaching towards Ban, while Ban readied himself to deflect it with his hands covered with the Mantis Gloves and the Noble Moth Cloak for extra protection. 

He only planned to deflect Yakob's hand, he was not foolish enough to face it head-on. He knew that his body was strong but he knew he was still far away from having the body of a Multi Realm Summoner. 

He already experienced the strength of the Elder Red Panda before, he was not willing to risk it again. 

Maybe because of the Ant Mask or the Noble Moth Cloak, Ban's mind was very clear at this moment. He even noticed Yakob's face changing a little, probably because of the gears that appeared out of nowhere on his body. 

However, Yakob's hand was still reaching out, but Rila was still far away. If Ban failed to deflect it, he would surely be caught by Yakob. 

However, just as both Ban and Yakob's hand came in contact with each other, they suddenly heard a horrified scream from the distance, asking for help. 

Hearing that scream, Yakob's face changed from better to worse. It was apparent that he was familiar with that screaming voice.

He forcefully stopped his hand as he turned around to look at where they set up their tents. As a result, Ban's hand ended up slamming right into Yakob's hand, however, Yakob's hand was only yanked for a few inches before it stabilized. It was clear to see that Ban's strength was fairly lacking compared to the old D-Rank Summoner. 

Although his hand was yanked away, Yakob did not bother about it as what he saw from the distance surprised him greatly. 

As this occurred, Ban did not waste the opportunity to retreat even further. Rila also arrived beside him at this moment, she looked at Yakob with a hateful gaze. Just as she was about to attack Yakob, Ban hurriedly raised his hand to stop her from her tracks. 

"I told you it wasn't me!" Ban said as he looked at Yakob and then the three people, Yakob's students near the tent. 

At the tent, one student of Yakob was struggling as he held his two companions. He was holding the two of them on their waist, what was strange was that the two companions were acting the same way as that of Ciera. 

Their hands fervently tried to reach and grab what was behind the student who was holding them down. Upon closer look, Ban realized that the two of them were trying to reach the food that Yakob was cooking. 

Just like Ciera, the two of them were also trying to reach the food like a savage. 

Ban looked over towards Ciera and noticed that she was still acting the same. However, even with Yakob far away from her, she was actually still sitting where Yakob pushed her earlier. Upon closer look, Ban realized that there was actually another Yak, albeit smaller, that was holding her in place. 

Ban guessed that it was Yakob's second summon. Upon reaching D-Rank Summoner, a Summoner would be able to summon their second Monster.

Yakob's face was full of confusion at the moment, he realized that his assumption was wrong. If his students were also afflicted, then it could not be Ban who was the suspect. He was right beside them just earlier, and he did not notice Ban approaching them either. 

He no longer knew what was happening. He has a lot of experience but it was his first time encountering something like this. His face was full of worry. He no longer wasted any more time as he dashed towards his students. Fortunately he arrived in an instant, or else, the student might no longer be able to hold his two companions from grabbing the searing hot food that Yakob was preparing. 

Ban already knew what had caused this, but previously, Ban did not know how to explain it to Yakob that would make him believe him. However, with the two students acting the same, he knew that it was his chance to explain it to him. 

With Eva on his shoulder, Ban moved towards Ciera and said with a serious tone, "I think, I know the real reason for this."

"What?" Yakob's voice sounded, eager to know the reason for their current predicament. 

However, his face suddenly fell when he heard what Ban said next. 

"Why would I tell you?"
