Ban placed the Unknown Egg above the fourth F-Apprentice Rank Mild Tempered Crocodile. However, he almost had a heart attack as he realized that the Unknown Egg actually did not absorb it, and it seems to be rejecting it a bit. 

He just thought about the Unknown Egg being not picky earlier and now it no longer wanted to consume this fourth crocodile already? 

However, he heaves a sigh a while later. He recalled that the Unknown Egg has a limit of the number of Beasts it could absorb in a set period of time. In other words, it still needs to digest the Beasts it consumed before it can proceed to consume another.

Ban patted his chest before he wiped the sweat forming at the corner of his forehead. He then stored the Unknown Egg inside the Beast Tattoo again before he proceeded to also store the remaining four F-Apprentice Rank Mild Tempered Crocodiles. He set them aside on the corner of the Dimensional Storage so that he could identify and get them easier later. 

Ban looked up past the tree and realized that the sun was already past noon. From his estimate, it should be around 2 to 3 pm already.

Now that the Unknown Egg was already satiated for the time being, he plans to use this opportunity to use the Plunder Ability or even the main ability of Greed if possible. 

He took the list given by Mr. Nian and pondered what kind of Beast he should choose for the two abilities. 

After thinking about it, he thought that he was only lacking a reconnaissance type of Skill at the moment. Just to be sure, he decided to check his profile again.

Gasp!

Looking at his profile, Ban could help but gasped in shock. He just realized at this point that he really has come a long way already compared to his previous self a few days ago.

If his raw strength was quantified as well, he guessed that it should be around five to ten times more powerful than his past pathetic self. 

His advancement was truly swift. It was only a week ago that he was still trying to train to death to try and become a warrior. It was only a week ago that he was unable to summon even a single monster. 

And in the span of a single week, from normal human to E-Elite Rank. Ban has really come a long way already. 

All of this was possible due to the System, and especially to the Transmigrator who gave him the opportunity to start over. 

This lifetime should have already ended for him, and this was supposed to be the Transmigrator's lifetime. But that Transmigrator declined the System's offer, forcing the System to choose Ban instead as a last resort. 

Ban was really thankful to the two of them. Oh, and there was also that censored Ancient Summoner, Ban was also thankful to her for her book or diary.

After assessing his set of Skills, Ban finally confirmed that he was indeed lacking a reconnaissance Skill at the moment. 

The reconnaissance Skill was very useful, especially with the current situation where he needs to search for different kinds of Beast on this Beast-Filled Place, Death Swamp.

Not only would he be able to avoid some dangers, he could also spot the Beasts he was searching for more easily. 

For example, if he had a reconnaissance Skill earlier, spotting the Scale Snake under the nest wouldn't be a problem for him. 

Thinking about the snake, they really do have the innate ability or skill to sense vibrations. This skill of theirs acts like their racial ability, for the Demon Ants it was their racial ability to lift a hundred times their weight while for the Giant Red Dragonflies, it was the ability to fly extremely well.

Unfortunately, such passive abilities could not be plundered by Plunder, or else he might really try to search for another Scale Snake. 

The reason for that was simple, it was because the passive abilities worked behind the scenes, and sometimes, even the Beast or Monsters themselves aren't aware of it as for them, it was only natural to possess that kind of ability. 

The Skill that can be plundered by Plunder are those active Skill, and those that the Beast or the Monsters are aware of. 

In essence, the Plunder Ability was like the copy skill used by grandpa Kuys second summon. 

However, unlike the copy Skill of that panda where it produces a toll on its user, using the Plunder Ability of Greed only consumes some stamina which he could directly recover by using Absorber Ability.

Both of them also worked just like how a Beast could form their own Skill Crystal. 

The Skill Crystal's are like the amalgamation of a Beasts or Monsters knowledge about the said Skill. 

Plunder directly absorbed this knowledge from the opponents he killed and condensed them directly before transferring it directly to his brain, unlike the copy skill of the panda where it needed to crystalize them first.

Hence the reason why Plunder could not plunder passive Skills as the Beasts or the Monsters aren't aware of it themselves. 

So the Scale Snakes was now out of his option for now. Their upper evolution on the other hand might be possible but they are Lord Grade and at D-Master Rank already so he dared not to think about them for the time being. 

Ban then looked at the list given by Mr. Nian again. 

He sorted them out from the nearest to the furthest before he inspected them one by one to check if any of them had any reconnaissance Skills. 

After a couple of minutes, Ban finally found a Beast that was suitable for his current needs.
