Volume 8 : Chapter 15 – FATE (1)
There was no reason for us to prolong our stay in this place, but Erebus disappeared the moment we landed in the capital city of Stark Kingdom.
Left alone to wait for him, I chose to move around the city and that’s when I heard that this nation had out of the blue given out the order to abolish slavery. To investigate further, I started hitting on the people willing to talk about it and slave merchants who were affected the most, because I wanted to learn about the new reforms.
It was not an instinct or part of my nature of who I originally was. At the very least, I still can’t accept this new life given to me, while my fate is still bounded.
But being reborn in this new body and for the sake of the future responsibilities of this new self-identity. I wanted to learn more about this world.
The response to the survey was overwhelmingly negative, but none of them were keen to protest or ignore the order. Instead, they were curious about the new contract-based reforms introduced in its stead.
Among the commoners, there were both sympathizers and there were still those who wanted to keep the society divided into the privileged and the slaves. But what would force the hand of the Stark Kingdom to make such a rash and bold move? That was when I hit up on another slave merchant’s door infamous for his business of slaves and connections.
The door on the first knock itself moved freely and only darkness crept outside through the crevice.
Sensing no one’s presence inside, I walked in. With a flick of my finger and a shadowy flame lit the room.
“⸻Its empty.” I turn around to look a bit more only to realize that it was now just a huge abandoned warehouse. But the marks of prison bars being dragged on the ground were still there. By how deep they were, the cages did contain something heavy and unstable. Slaves.
So, did he flee with his slaves? But that would go against the kingdom’s orders. Either way, my work was done here. As I came outside and removed all evidence of my ever being here in this place and got ready to leave.
I then heard the revolving sound of metal wheels moving. A carriage was being drawn out from the backdoor of what appeared to be an attached garage for the shop.
On a simple whim, I followed the cart from behind and it opened up into a back alleyway, where two girls were tied to their hands and were being loaded into the cart now.
One was a simple commoner native girl and the other was dressed in all white, appeared young, frail, and wore a typical mask.
What really struck me the most was how; I could not sense anything from the girl in the mask at all even though she was right in front of my eyes. It could have been a concealment skill, but something that simple wouldn’t work on me. All beings produce certain wavelengths of magic but she was certainly able to suppress them to the point that none could be perceived by me.
Tch.
Just as soon as the cart began to move, I started to tail it. Maybe it was because I had nothing better to do in the present, but slowly I was getting involved on my own. The cart moved through the city’s long road without stopping and entered the forest after passing through a lightly guarded checkpoint.
The speed doubled and I made sure to tail them while hiding in the trees so they won’t be able to spot me. Their final destination was a run-down and out-of-maintenance church building.
I got to the roof of the church from the back and saw several cages filled with slaves made out of young children held inside the church. Certainly, they were not in them of their own volition but because they were kidnapped and forced to.
The two girls were brought outside and from the roof I watched everything. I had followed these girls without any reason or giving a second thought, was I exhibiting strange perverted behavior. No, it is something that couldn’t have been helped.
I was a little distracted by my own thoughts until the bald guy ordered to put the slavery chains on them.
“So, this is what I get to do things without thinking.” I said quietly to myself.
Before the guards of the slave merchant could get closer to the girls with the slavery chains, I jump from the top of the roof over them and slit the throat of the guard. These people were probably hired bandits or mercenaries who were up to no good.
The fight had only begun and while my sword skills were enough to take care of everyone. There were more uncertainties involved than I thought.
Just when the slave merchant ordered the girls to be taken hostage and while I had full concentration on each of his men.
At the very moment when the slave merchant commanded to take the girl, hostage. I made sure my complete focus was fixed on each of his accomplices.
But then the little child reveals herself to be in forced cohort with the slave merchant and pulled out a knife. I did not know whether the girl with the mask was capable to dodge it or take that blow and survive.
It would have been troublesome if one of them dies and the blame falls on me.
Also, I could not just swing the full length of my sword in the middle of such a small gap. With no choice left, I moved quickly on my feet and held the knife only to find it sharp enough to pierce through my skin.
The piercing pain chilled me to my bone, but then my skill restored my composure.
When I thought of continuing the fight after removing the knife.
The girl in the mask held my hand and applied light magic to it. So, she really was hiding her magic. Was it only because she had healing spells, that would surely make her a valuable person?
Unfortunately for her, my unique skill renders all magic on me useless, including healing light magic. So, I shrugged of my hand and decided to walk away and continue the fight.
But the girl was even more stubborn than I imagined her to be. Unexpectedly she tore a part of her cloth, and expertly quickly tied it around the incision to stop the bleeding.
I sighed and nodded to her that everything was alright now.
In the second match, the slave merchant revealed himself to carry an artifact to zap the life energy of all the slaves. So, attacking on the force field created by the stolen energy would cause more strain on the slaves.
While I was figuring out a way to destroy the artifact by using my unique magic as the last resort. The presence of one person suddenly changed. My eyes followed the girl in the mask.
It was only for a moment a light flashed in the entire area. Too fast for anyone here to notice except for me. And it was not just simple healing magic.
A tremendous amount of magic power was released from the girl in the mask. And by the time my eyes took notice of the effect, all the slaves in the cages were healed and their slavery chains disappeared.
With the cursed artifact losing its power source, I decided to deal the finishing blow and end it quickly. After I eliminated the slave merchant and all his men, I had decided to leave soon after.
But looking back, it made me curious about the kind of magic the girl used.
I used my appraisal skill as a normal occurrence.
But this was the second time I was left surprised in my new life.
“Her status. I can’t see it.” The entire status screen was a blurred mosaic.
It alarmed me and I once again checked the status to be sure. It was still the same blurred blue screen.
Our gazes met, and both of us knew what we had been looking at.
The only thought that clouded my mind was ⸻Why is someone as strong as me or even more doing in this part of the world? Or why do they even exist?
Is this a mistake? Does she know about me?
No, my plans. Just a presence like this is enough to topple all my work if they are not my ally.
The tension was palpable as my hands moved to hold my sword.
But then the little girl who had previously used the knife dragged me by the hand and announced me as her savior. And my eyes were now stuck on the cloth wrapped around my hand.
It was only a piece of cloth and I really did not need it. I was pretty sure my self-regeneration ability had already healed my wound. But taking it out now would expose my powers and I wanted to refrain from doing so, especially when I had no idea who she really was.
It was not like I was embarrassed when the other kids called me cool for my swordsmanship and how I defeated the slave merchant.
I still had to know the real reason for the girl’s presence here. She looked frustrated by how I was being appreciated. I couldn’t help but look at her with a childish smug face, as if it was my victory on her, this time.
That’s when she called herself Alicia and insisted on taking the kids back home. I suppose leaving like this in between would not be sincere.
The rest of my day was utilized in finding these little kids home’s and after we made sure the final child had made it back safely.
Only the girl named Alicia and I were left. Not knowing how to bring up the topic of status without revealing my own dilemma of not being able to see hers. Was the secret of my skills and power exposed?
There was still the question that the girl might not have possessed any appraisal skills, to begin with. From all her conversation she appeared to be both a dimwit and careful person to me. Honestly, I could not decide.
Because she looked weirdly worried about the cloth tied around my hand I said sorry for courtesy.
Instead, she taught me to say thank you for it. In return, I wanted to give her my name, so that I could at least find out where she came from. But she was too cautious to reveal it directly to me.
After thinking for a while, the name kept popping into my head for some reason.
“My name is Ken.” I said.
DING….DING…
The church bell distracted my attention. When I turned back, the individual named Alicia was gone. I could not even confirm whether that was her real name.
My presence search did not catch her even in the two miles vicinity.
So, I could have been right about her mysterious powers and her intention to hide them as well.
I had other questions for her as well. As for the kind of magic she used to dispel the cursed artifact’s effects, or how she broke her rope ties by herself.
“What have you been doing here?” A familiar voice came from my back.
“Shouldn’t I be the one asking, where have you been all this time?” I said turning back and found Erebus standing behind me as if he sprouted right out of my shadow.
“Just checking on one of my play material but someone already broke it before I could help them out.” Erebus talked like he did not care why we were even here.
“We have lost enough time already because of you. It would do much good to the mission if you are a little more serious.” To some degree, it made me furious because he was the reason for half of what happened right now.
“Why don’t you leave the worries for later? And tell me what you have been hiding in your hand.” Erebus tries to look at my back with piqued interest.
So, he noticed. The moment I had perceived Erebus’s presence in the detection magic I used; I had quickly pulled my hands behind me to hide the cloth wrapped around my palm.
Should I tell him that I encountered someone whose power might rival mine? About her unappraised status and mysterious magic. To get what I want I cannot leave any untied knots.
“No there’s nothing special for you to know.” Saying that I revealed both my hands all fresh and clear.
While talking I had quickly untied the cloth and before it could fall to the ground I burnt it with my black steel magic.
It’s exactly because she is an anomaly in my plan I cannot leave it to Erebus to take care of the matter because he would then only just play around. So, I will discover the truth about the girl myself and if necessary dispose of her.
“I see. Can’t you just relax in front of me a little? You are the fifth prince of the Nova Kingdom and I am your brother in this new world.”
“You and I have no such relation except for the contract. Just as you have told me I helped you remove Freya from your way, whom you considered the only threat.”
“Thanks to the Origin stones from Zero we were able to seal a god’s magic power, and have captured Freya and made her contractee now do our bidding.” Erebus had started walking around me in a circle.
“So, any news about finding the cursed child on the Demon Continent.”
“Zero has an idea and that’s where your friend has been searching for them. I hope he finds them soon if he wants his goddess back.”
“He is not my friend.” I cannot have any friends here.
“Come on Ken, you don’t have to be so morbid all the time.”
“Don’t call me by that name ever.”
“Alright! But there’s something interesting happening in this city. The pirates that had been rampaging throughout the sea were all defeated by one individual whom they call the White Queen. And if I am thinking this right, this individual might also be the one who broke my toy.”
“Sounds fun…”
“Right!”
“…for you. So, not interested.” I could not be interested in anything other than what I reincarnated for.
“What? Just hear me out…” Erebus looked most surprised.
“I have decided. Seems like our partnership is not working together well for you. So, why don’t we part our own ways.” I looked at Erebus with cold eyes.
“Oh! Oh! Don’t tell me hurting your classmate is weighing heavy on you. But we both agreed upon it.” Erebus’s voice too became snarky.
“No, because it was something that was needed to be done.” The first reincarnate who was killed during Zero’s first appearance, Yumiko along with her goddess was planning to start a war against all demi humans in the human continent. As for the class rep Homura he would have supported her.
“I am heading back to the Nova Empire. The emperor won’t like his son’s absence for long or he may declare it treason against him.”
“Well, our father is harsh in such cases. You really gave me a scare because I thought you were bent on breaking our partnership.” Erebus laughed at himself.
“Erebus, You are on your own from now.”
“Is that supposed to be funny maybe that’s the reason you don’t have any friends.” Erebus casually puts his hands on my shoulder but I walked away.
“I will find the keys Zero had been looking for on my own while you can go and have your little fun.”
“Fine I will stay behind just a little longer, to see if anything interesting happens. But you don’t even know where to start looking from, so how are you going to find them.”
“I will find a way even with nothing. Alone if I have to.” Saying that I started walking back to the inn I had decided to stay and leave with the first light in the morning.
“Those who don’t plainly show their emotions are the most underhanded. Don’t forget that you are a beast yourself, Ken.”
“I told him not to call me by that name.”

NOVA EMPIRE
Within the training grounds of the Nova Empire's military camp, a fierce conflict ignited among the soldiers.
Within the enclosure formed by a circle of soldiers was a man with a build of a giant. On the opposing side, he confronted a young girl with a slender physique and a cascade of black hair, standing eye to eye.
Both individuals were dressed in matching green military-grade uniforms, typically worn by trainee soldiers undergoing militant training.
“Young girls like you are not needed here. I am sure you have worked your way up here using unfair means. It's better if you go back home to your village back in the boonies.”
“You have no right to tell me what to do. And I am here because of my own skills and qualifications. But I can’t say the same for you. Aren’t you getting too fat on your own? Don’t tell me you are slacking off while all of us here are working hard to become soldiers.” The girl taunted.
“You have got quite a big mouth.”
“So, are we here only to talk or do you need someone’s help to move your fat ass.” The girl draws her sword from her sheath buckled around her waist in the form of a belt. It was a simple lightweight sword used by troops in training so they don’t end up with serious injuries.
For a second there was an unsatisfactory look on the girl’s face because she doubted the chipped sword could prove to do anything useful against the colossal man standing in front of her.
On hearing the heated conversation between the two fighting parties, the audience made out of their fellow troops was riled up. People began collecting even from other nearby camps because of the loud cheering noise.
“Go and show her you bear killer.”
“Shut that woman’s mouth for good.”
“I bet two gold coins on the bear killer for the winning.”
“Are you sure, that’s your entire year’s salary?”
“If you knew even a little about that guy. You would have even bet your life’s savings. He got recruited by the top officers without going through the evaluation because he had killed a claw bear monster with only his bare hand.”
“Is he really that strong, then I bet four gold coins.”
The crowd was stirred with fervor, voicing their support for the notorious bear slayer. His distinct physique alone was undeniable proof that convinced everyone of his feats.
His massive silhouette loomed, accentuated by muscles that rippled beneath his attire, particularly around his arms and chest.
“I don’t really like to hit a girl but looks like you have nowhere left to escape.”
“I say you should come at me with your full strength or you scared.”
“Damn, you…” the bear killer was now all riled up and he straight went for a spearhead. His clean head moved with such force that for a second it changed the direction of the wind.
The girl moved fast and jumped high to dodge the blow and landed just behind him hoping to get a clean hit on his back.
But the bear killer moved still moved fast. His giant hands swayed from top to bottom ready to smash the girl.
His super punch only hits the bottom and dust clouds swirl up and block his view. He then feels a piercing pain around his arms and saw the girl girdling her sword around it.
He quickly pulls back and screams at her.
“Did you see how fast she moved and dodged the attack? She has got good moves.” The soldiers watching could not help but see the fight in awe.
“Is that all you have got, bear killer?”
“Don’t push your luck.” With that, the bear killer started throwing a barrage of punches on the girl.
"Maybe you have a smaller brain than a monster," she said mockingly.
Using her small physique and agility the girl was able to dodge most of the attacks and at the same time inflict wounds on his arms to the point he had begun bleeding.
“I think it’s time to finish this.” The girl holds her sword straight and then it begins to blaze in fire as she infuses fire magic with it.
With another of his punch landing on empty ground. The girl steps on his knuckles, restricting him from lifting them up or blocking.
The fire blazes into a giant storm and bursts all around the bear killer leaving nothing but smoke and small holes in the ground.
“That should do it.” The girl jumps back to a safe distance.
The audience was surprised by the attack. “So, she is a magic swordsman.”
“That was impressive.”
“So, did the bear killer lose or what?”
“No, wait look there.”
While the smoke still covered the bear killer and the fire kept on burning around him.
“WAAAHHHHHHH…” Another scream silenced the audience’s chattering.
Whoosh! The wind roared and with a single blow of his hand, the smoke gets cleared.
The dress of the bear killer was still on fire and his eyes were bloodshot.
“So, you survived that.”
The bear killer did not respond and tore off the shirt on his body stopping the fire. It only revealed a perfect body with no cuts or burns.
“Just what kind of food did your mother feed you to develop such freakish muscles?” The girl was most unhappy with the results.
The eyes of the bear killer had rolled up and they were almost white.
“Don’t tell me he has entered his berserk mode. Evacuate everyone quickly.” Chaos erupted among the audience once more. Some tried to get back while others still got closer to get a better view of the fight.
“So, that’s what a muscle guy looks like when he stops using his brain. Maybe my next attack would bring you back to your senses.” The girl again starts running towards the giant killer.
While she was still a few meters away the bear killer raised his hand again but this time freely punches in empty air.
Suddenly the girl feels immense pressure around her belly and then gets thrown several meters back.
“What was that?”
The blow of his punch was strong enough that the pressure air pressure toppled the girl away.
The giant killer at the same time was now using body reinforcement magic and wind magic in his berserk mode. His body was overflowing with magic energy to the point his brain stopped working.
He hysterically started throwing punches everywhere around knocking out the ground and his own fellow soldiers.
“Stop hurting others.” The girl again blows fire at the man from her sword.
But this time instead of having an effect just the blow from his mouth was enough to extinguish it.
The bear killer started to chase the girl ready to kick her with his leg or squash her under his punch.
The girl was confident in her speed, but at the same time, she would also have to look out for the invisible impact which was last time able to blow her away.
The bear killer raises his left leg from the side to get to the girl. The girl in response quickly jumps up and to gets in position to make her next attack.
But as if the bear killer was waiting for her to make that move, he throws a punch in the sky.
Not having enough time to dodge the hit mid-air the girl braces the impact with her sword. The punch only hits her sword, but her entire body feels the repercussion as she roughly lands on the ground.
“I might have broken my left arm with that.” The girl wipes the blood trickling from her lips and ignores the growing pain in her broken left arm.
She looked now more concerned about the broken sword in her other hand.
“Do you know how costly it was to buy this sword? Tell me are you going to pay for it now.”
“Gwahhhh…” the bear killer only stared at the girl with hollow eyes.
“So, you are going to act all dumb now. Fine, I will then just win the bet and take all the money for myself.”
“Hey, you I want to bet one gold coin on myself.” The girl spoke to the soldier in line taking the bets.
“How are you going to win with a broken sword, just accept your loss already.” The guy only sneered at her.
The girl narrowed her eyes and pointed the broken sword at him now.
“Okay alright. Do as you, please. But you will lose and end up in debt because no one has bet on you.”
“That’s not a problem because I am going to win.” The girl defiantly raised her sword, flashing it at the bear killer who once more charged towards her with a clear intent to end her life.
“InfernoSaber.” The girl chants.
A large amount of flame magic started concentrating on her sword until the broken metal melts and fall to the ground. At the same time, a flaming saber takes its place on the hilt of the sword.
The temperature of the surrounding had already started to rise and the soldiers started sweating.
With a fierce determination in her eyes, the girl deftly maneuvered her fire saber, parrying the giant's monstrous strikes with precision. Each clash of the fire saber against the giant's colossal fists unleashed a burst of sparks, illuminating the surrounding area and leaving behind trails of scorching flames on the giant's flesh, causing him to roar in agony.
“Grahhhhh…” the bear killer on seeing the girl make her next move this time he pounced into the sky and leaped toward the girl.
“You will scare all the girls if you keep acting like a brute.” The girl did not move nor try to doge this time.
The soldiers watching were sure that it would have been the end of her to the point she might get seriously injured and would have to quit being a soldier.
Her flame saber was glowing bright and after pumping more magic into, it became completely red.
When the girl was sure that the guy was in her sword range, she makes a complete wide swing to slow down his momentum and then a horizontal strike straight on his bare chest.
The clash of opposing forces filled the air as the girl's blade erupted in brilliant flames, casting an intense glow across the battleground.
When the soldiers observing the fight watched the bear killer fall to the ground they were stubbed. His body was flaming and releasing steam. A black patch had formed on his chest marking the place where the impact was the most devastating.
“Listen everyone my name is Elsie and one day I am going to be your general.” The girl proudly announced to everyone watching. She then looks at the man collecting the bets, her eyes now shining.
“Now come on. Hand me over my winning money.”
“Stop this bullshit. Anyone call the medics and get the bear killer treated.”
“Who even cares, who won.”
“Nobody told us you were that strong and could use magic.”
“How could you beat the bear killer so ruthlessly.”
“Wait! Why am I being made here to look bad.” The girl was astounded by everyone’s betrayal.
“Everyone get her. She must have weakened after that fight. We will take her down and prove that we are even stronger.”
“So that’s how things are.” The girl was really in bad shape after her left arm had broken and had used considerable magic powers at the same time.
Just then trumpets at the head office sounded to make an announcement.
“Attention everyone. The fifth prince of the Nova Empire, Kevin Nova will soon make his presence.”
At the announcement everyone was surprised. It was rare for nobles to come to a normal training camp like this much less royalty. So, the soldiers suddenly dropped their swords and got into formation.
“Thank goodness. I guess I am saved for now.” The girl Elsie let out a sigh.
“But I really wonder what the prince is here for.”

KEVIN NOVA
After I ditched Erebus, I left early morning to get back to the Nova Empire. But on the route, I learned of a training camp and decided to make a visit.
The emperor of the Nova empire was a very shrewd man to the point he did not even trust his own descendants and they were always kept to be in surveillance.
But at the same time, he was also the only emperor with the title of the hero and so people started calling him the Hero King. But in reality, he was a complete imperialist. But it was not only the mindset of the king that helped this empire prosper but its people felt the same as well.
On my arrival, I secretly walked into the camp and found a brawl going on. It was not something special to catch my attention. But when the girl who won against a difficult opponent announced her name and her ambition to become a general.
I had made up my mind.
I visited the head office and introduced myself. As usual, I got the princely treatment and told the in-charge officer my intention to see all the soldiers.
An announcement was made and as expected of a strict training camp everyone assembled properly within a couple of seconds.
Without wasting time, I walked to the row where the girl stood. I beckoned to the officer in charge and he understood my signal.
“Elsie of the fifth division, twelfth squad, immediately report at the encampment walls.”
After the announcement, I could hear a little bit of murmur.
“See, that’s what you get for making trouble for the higher-ups.”
“You are sure to be expelled for hurting one of our aces.”
“A girl like you has no place here in the army.”
“How dare you call yourself a general?”
Elsie had decided to speak up against them but when she heard the final comment something held her back and she bit her own lips in frustration.
At the boundary of the encampment was raised wall beyond which a big trench was dug. And even beyond that was a massive forest filled with monsters.
Often times these military training camps were built around such difficult places to train soldiers in the harshest condition and give them practical experience in fighting against monsters.
At the same time, it also helped in keeping the empire safe.
I was already present on the top of the wall waiting for the one I had invited. I had asked the officer in charge to keep anyone else away from this place for the time being.
I saw the girl walk out of the stairs and arrive at the top of the wall. She looked a bit concerned seeing no one and then finally spots me.
“What’s the prince doing here?” The girl gives out a salute to me as she did not expect to find a prince here.
“Be at ease.” I ordered.
The girl Elsie stood straight. I could still see the bruise on her left hand and how she did not get treated and rushed to here.
“I am very sorry, prince I really did not intend to hurt the bear killer. But you see he was too weak…. And…. and.”
“I do not care about the bear killer.”
“Then why have I been called here.” My words surprised Elsie to the point she forgot she was standing in front of a prince.
At the very least I realized the girl was too impulsive. So, it was best that I explain everything to her myself.
“I saw your fight with the Bear killer and it was commendable.”
“Then the reason that announcement was made in the end was to save me from those knuckleheads. Thank you, prince.”
She figured that out so quickly, Elsie turned out to be more perceptive than I thought.
“I have decided, I want you to be my personal guard. Of course, you are free to refuse as it is a personal request and not an official order.”
“A guard for the prince of the empire.” The girl was in aww.
“So, do you accept?”
“Yes. I do.” Elsie immediately replied without thinking twice.
“Good.” Beyond this, I had nothing else to say.
But then Elsie makes a difficult expression as if she was not sure of herself.
“Is there something wrong?”
“Nothing prince.” The girl still did not look certain.
“Has it to do something with your dream.”
“Yes, you see my father was in the army…”
“Your father was a general and I did know him.” I had checked records of Elsie and it turns out she was a simple villager but her father was a general in the army.
“Really. Can you tell me anything about him?”
“He was a respectable man and most talented for his tactical analysis. Unfortunately, we lost him in the campaign which my sister Siesta led in the demon continent.”
“I see.” The girl looked now happy enough just to listen about her father.
“So, do you want to be like your father?”
“No not at all. I will become the greatest general and surpass even him.”
“Is that the reason you fought back?”
“If I don’t fight back now, it will never stop.” Elsie had no hesitation in saying what was on her mind. She was the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeves.
She will do. I will put her to good use to get my way out of this empire and pursue my own goals from now.
“That really makes me curious to know what was the argument for in the first place.” I wanted to know the story which led to such a big brawl.
“Oh, it wasn't anything big. A few men attempted to cut in front of me while we were queuing for food distribution for hours. So, I swiftly delivered a powerful judgment kick in their nether so they do not repeat the same mistake again." Elsie most confidently taps her chest plate, producing a jingling sound.
“Waahh??” My voice came out and I coughed at the same time.
Swiftly, I concealed my disapproving expression from Elsie and averted my gaze.
“Is something wrong prince?”
Don’t tell me out of all people I went out of my way only to hire a troublemaker.

Note for readers:
A small announcement regarding the change in name of a few characters. During the volume 2 some of the characters in the recent chapter were depicted with different names. But to make the names more simple and easy to remember(and cool) I have changed them. For example the name of empire has been changed from Perillus to Nova and the name of Erebus reincarnate partner had been changed to Kevin Nova. I am sure you are still able to make the connection of who is who by the flow of the story. I will also soon update these new names in the other previous volumes as well so that no discrepancy is found later.
You are free to ask for any doubts in the comments for story clarity.
